Weds Evo Trainers “Feel the Heat” Ride • 6/21/17

The “Extreme Heating Event” continues. Paul wore a very appropriate jersey on today’s 99 degree heat acclimation ride: “The last jersey you will ever need. End of the World, Ride for Your Life.” Could only coax these few hardy souls out today, everyone else is somewhere cowering in A/C. 

Oh, and the bottom two pictures? We’ve been watching the progress of this house “remodel” for the last year and a half, at least. The picture on the left shows the ‘wall” that they left in place to qualify this complete and total tear down as a “remodel” to save on property taxes, and not have to comply with current building code regarding set-back from the street. Or that was our guess as to why that 8 foot wide stub was left behind for the duration. Apparently someone complained or something; The house has been jacked up by house movers, the foundation was demolished, moved a few feet away from the road, repoured, and now the house is being moved a few feet to the left as well. I can only imagine how much this is costing someone....
