Most of these photos come from the Durbar festival in Northern Nigeria. The knights in the black & white photos are mounted knights from Cameroon. The last picture is someone representing the Oba of Benin.
These pictures would probably be what larping of African fantasy/history will look like once it takes off. They look really cool to me.
