Hello friends! Hope you all are well!!!!
I have gotten some asks, which I appreciate! I am working on them as I speak. Although, I want to ask to please have patience with me 🙏🏻 College finals are coming and this semester has been absolutely awful, hence my absence from the community for so long :(
However! My winter break is coming up soon, thankfully. If you guys could just wait a liiittle longer, I have some great ideas that I’ll release! I’m working on those asks, and I’ve got some death ideas as well as an adorable potential new fic involving Jones! (If you guys like it, that is!)
I love and miss this community dearly, and I look forward to chatting with you all again soon.
Until break, Here is a short goofy blip! I may release a few more little things too. 😊 love you guys <3
Imagine the horsemen accompanying their human on earth.
War: The horseman would be extremely awkward and very noticeable. There’s no way around it for this guy—he’s just there. You would have to work very hard to explain his large size and bluntness to everyone in a way that didn’t freak anyone out. He would struggle a lot with interacting with others, however, since he insisted he wouldn’t leave your side while on Earth, he always tried his best for you. It wasn’t easy to get him to take off all his armor, and wear a more human like disguise. You tried to explain that he’d scare everyone otherwise, and after a long, stubborn argument he finally gave in. Due to his massive size, he was easily seen through thick crowds. That was nice touch—you could get anywhere with him around! Occasionally you’d ride on his shoulders through town, oh you loved that. He found it amusing. It was still a struggle to keep the surrounding humans from cowering in fear...but you decided to ignore it most of the time. It wasn’t always so bad, sometimes a human would admire his size, causing a swell of pride in the horseman—to which you were thankful for. Bonus: His human disguise sometimes included his long hair being pulled into a ponytail or man bun. He didn’t quite understand it, but you thought it was absolutely adorable, and it made you happy, which was good enough for him.
Death: Well, the good news is he didn’t draw a lot of attention to himself, what with his quiet personality and all. In fact, he stayed in with you most of the time, reading or doing something else he found productive. In the cases you would go out however, he was always sure to follow. “Death,” you’d start, but he would always argue, and you found it best not to argue back. You could hide him...sort of with an oversized black hoodie. Since he kept to himself, it wasn’t such an issue, save for the few times he thought you were being hassled, in which one glance from the stone cold horseman would be sure to send whoever was bugging you sprinting away. Since most of these cases were simply humans trying to be nice, you’d mentally face palm, and would have long talks with the horseman about scaring the other humans. You had to admit though, having him around made you feel safe, and that was a feeling that made you happier than you’d ever realized. Bonus: Sometimes you’d let him go out without a human like disguise just so that you could tell everyone he was attending a convention, and wanted to dress up. Oh, he hated you for that. He swore he’d get you back for it. Though he had to be truthful to himself, he’d rather be embarrassed with you than away from your side. He of course would never admit that to anyone though.
Fury: Although she wasn’t particularly fond of humans, she sure as hell wasnt going to let you roam around on your own. She didn’t give a crap if the apocalypse was over or not, she wasn’t going to leave your side. As much as you tried to argue, she wouldn’t have it. Realizing you weren’t getting anywhere with her, you surrendered. Although, it was incredibly difficult to convince her to take off her armor. Incredibly. Difficult. After standing your ground that you would never take her anywhere with you if she didn’t try to blend in, she finally complied. While in public, she’d often bear a menacing scowl. It would cause a lot of fearful glances in your direction. And though it wasn’t exactly the best situation, you admit you liked her by your side. On certain days where Fury seemed more approachable, bold humans would comment on the horseman’s beauty. She was taken aback, but it helped to make her a little more comfortable in the human world. Bonus: You would often have to give her lessons on etiquette, or social situations. She despised them, but out of her desire to keep by your side, she put up with them. Especially since you wouldn’t let her out of the house without reviewing them.
Strife: After getting to know humans so well in Haven with Ulthane, he was by far the horseman with the most knowledge in human culture. However... he um... still struggled with fitting in. It was absolutely hilarious, but he cared so much about you and the human culture, it was also very endearing. He didn’t really need any assistance in disguise, since he had been Jones for so long. He simply took on the same role. However, socially... he needed some help to say the least. Not that he wasn’t kind or approachable...rather he was excitable. It was hard to keep him from talking to every single human that passed by. His favorite thing to do was try human slang! ...To which he always used wrong, and would always earn you some strange looks. Some of your favorite moments of getting embarrassed included the horseman ‘doing the woah’ to everyone as they passed, because he thought it was some sort of greeting. You swore you’d never forgive him for embarrassing you that harshly in public. Although he was a dork, he was your dork, and you were thankful to have him by your side. Bonus: Sometimes you would dress the horseman up in comical ways. It’s the time of the holidays? Reindeer antlers. You’d find all sorts of fun items, and considering the horseman had no idea of their intent, he’d go along with it. It was completely amusing to watch a deadly horseman of the apocalypse prance around in a tutu.
