In celebration of the thriving spirit of New York in its success at surviving the the attack on the city by the escaped prisoners of the Raft and the Arkham Asylum, Wilson Fisk is throwing a party that everyone is invited to!

The party will take place on Saturday, August 3rd at the Spyglass Rooftop Bar, which has an amazing view of the Empire State Building. There’s a private art gallery set up to display Fisk’s collection, but it also serves as a place for couples to have some private time for themselves too. There will be dancing and a live jazz band. The bar will be serving free cocktails, and there will be plenty of fancy food available for everyone to enjoy. 

Security guards will be present to make sure no fights break out. Jessica Drew will be leading the security, and there will be metal detectors at the entrances to prevent weapons from being brought in. 

The party is formal and a masquerade ball. Guests are encouraged to wear masks and dresses and suits suitable to the occasion, though they are not a requirement. Some masks will be available at the party for those who do not have their own.

Make sure to tag all starters with #aftermasquerade along with the normal starter tag, and if you make any edits or graphics of your characters costumes, tag them as #aftermasque.

SAM WILSON PARTY AESTHETIC

Sam is only here to look good. He just got to this timeline, and nobody’s moping about a grape man wiping out the universe. That’s a reason to party! He’s wearing a bird mask, because he knows how to commit to a look. Also, he needs everyone to know that he looks better than Bucky. It’s important to him.

PETER QUILL PARTY LOOK 

Peter raided Tony’s closet for this party. How much does his suit cost? He doesn’t know! It’s all paid for by his sugar daddy! He managed to sneak his guns passed the metal detectors, probably because he has so much metal on him the guards just gave up. He also brought his Zune, so he can have a soundtrack going while he parties. (Steals. He’s here to steal.)

MILES MORALES PARTY LOOK

Miles didn’t pack a suit when he hopped from one dimension to the other, and he’s not quite bold enough to roll up into Fisk’s party in his Spidey-suit, so he’s stuck with a pair of khaki pants and a dress shirt he found in the back of his closet, along with a yellow sunflower tie because I’ll die for this sunflower aesthetic and so will he! He’s also wearing his red sneakers. They’re untied. My boy commits to his untied shoes, baby!

DANNY RAND PARTY LOOK

Danny, despite his typical ‘homeless chic’ aesthetic, owns a whole closet full of suits. He broke an expensive one out for the occasion, along with a masquerade mask he had his assistant pick up for him. He’s still wearing ratty tennis shoes, though. Gotta keep some of his signature look, and Ward wouldn’t let him show up barefoot!

Nebula is using her cloaking technology to join the fun. She’s chosen blue and gold for the big night. Her head is half-shaved, complete with the tattoo pictured above. (She’s not used to so much hair. The tattoo... well that was a spur of the moment decision.) But it’s all an illusion -- if someone gets too close, they might see what’s really underneath her many masks.

WILSON FISK’S CELEBRATION MASQUERADE BALL

Well documented as a man of expensive taste, it stands to reason that Wilson Fisk would ensure his staff are looking their best as he welcomes his fiancee back to New York City. Little is known of Jessica Drew, former agent of SHIELD and Fisk’s new head of security, but she definitely makes a statement. A vision in red, this is one woman that you don’t want to try and slip a bottle of cognac past on the way in -- and why would you? Fisk has provided an open bar for all of his guests to enjoy!
