IT’S FINALLY HERE

@requiemofkings‘s beautiful works inspired this post-ww2 dramatic shenanigans, and i’m so hyped (and terrified) to let it out into the world. 

two important things to note!

1. this is based on the hungarian revolution of 1956! the dates are accurate, as are the places (though many are renamed). the specific details, however, are obviously tailored for AFTG and for sensitivity reasons. 

2. @whatmack was the other writer, and their fic is AMAZING! you should defs check it out!!

okay okay okay, so a whopping ten days late, I have finally finished my @aftgreverse fic, “Caught You (Now I'm Gonna Scratch Up All Your Toys)”  found here on ao3

and the prompt “The Monsters are just that, monsters, but they aren't all as bad as they seem. Aaron and Andrew are the most feared of all of them, but no one actually knows what they are,  until Neil stumbles upon them and can't quite believe his eyes.”

which i had a great deal of trouble with once I realized this was literal and it was a catboy twins/magical creatures au and not about crafting as I initially thought

It’s a series of three vignettes, showing the twins displaying various cat-like behaviors through different perspectives. i got a lot of idea from watching My Cat from Hell. i have actually become very attached to this world. 

Please heed the tags, as they do not address just the background canon of aftg, and are central to the plot and conflict in each vignette. what can i say? i like to write fights and nasty people

I also want to give a particular shoutout to @gluupor not only for running this but for putting up with my shit the entire time. i was an absolute disaster and they were very kind and patient with me. terribly sorry i am the way that i am
