Hmmmm nah 🤔 try this “Just like everyone else, I struggle to take that first step, leap, or jump into new beginnings. _ Imagine me packing my bags and heading to a new city SOLO ✈️ Sounds scary right? Before heading to Toronto, I was nervous as all hell about whether I would have a good time, and if you all would even be interested in what I’m up to. After seeing the number of heartfelt DMs I received, I am in awe of how quickly things can change. One of my goals for this trip was to connect with more creative minds in the Canadian community and attending @africanfashionweektoronto was a step in the right direction. I challenged myself to be social off social media and actively seek collaboration because this blogging world is TOUGH and it is even tougher when you have to do it alone.
