nuance for the military is a Crazy ass take. like the military absolutely profits of the vulnerable but also if ur poor and u decide that the best choice is to go and possibly kill kids than ur money is blood money and u should have no respect.
unfortunately in this world for children who are in these communities that are targeted that is the only option. its that or die. and i think its a bit absurd and holier than thou to say well id just die than do that. people are selfish, people typically want to live.
the idea of nuance in most topics to be crazy makes no sense to me, there are very few things that can be decided black and white. everything has nuance.
the military is bad. thats true. but life isnt simple enough to say everyone that had no choice but to join for whatever reason is bad because of it. people arent that simple and to believe as such would be ridiculous and immature in my opinion. thats one of the things that makes the military so disgusting. it makes it seem as if its something that can help these kids who have no way out. its predatory. and with predatory industries there are going to be victims.
