After some time, the author knew she had little other choice but to leave her new home-- though, she hardly would refer to it as such, as it was hardly anything comparable to her house previously owned in another city. Yet, that was gone now, and there was nothing to be done but move forward. Such a thing was easier said than done, at least that was what Eto thought as she found herself wandering a city of rubble.
Eventually, she came to the hole from which she saw upon her arrival. It looked as ominous as before, though now she was able to take note of others observing the phenomenon just as she herself was. One woman in particular stood out, as she was getting quite close to the hole by squatting upon its edge. With how close she was, Eto could not help but wonder how easily it would be for the woman to tumble in accidentally... or, not so accidentally, that is.
She inwardly shrugged, and made no attempt to hide her approach or curiosity. One of Takatsuki Sen’s polite smiles was easy to fake despite Eto’s actual, sour mood, what with the amount of practice she had in doing so.
“You should be careful, miss, you might fall in if you’re not.”
