“Don’t hurt me, please…”
Lapis looked down at the gem that was seemigly trying to make themself look as small as possible. They were shaking slightly, she merely stared, eyes narrowed, stiff shoudlers.
Even without the limb enhancers and the their new uniform, Lapis could’ve recognized them anywhere. She could’ve even easilly turned her back and let them be, ackowleging the complete absence of a potential threat in the tiny, pathetic green thing in front of her, but it was the uniform that changed her mind. Her eyes narrowed even more, a cold shimmer in her eyes, marked by dark circles.
The blue gem grabbed the other by wrist to expose their new form, clearly seing the star on it now.
Peridot might’ve been better than Jasper had been to her but what she was seing now was just too much.
“Give me one good reason why I shouldn’t”, she said, coldly, staring down at them.
She was tired, still dripping from her escape in the ocean, her feet were sore and she was way too fed up with everything for easy forgivance.
