Team Battle Buddies. Getting AIs. Boy oh boy. -Agent 🐉

OKAY well you got two routes here, Dragon, you got two routes. 

You got your ANGST route where the implantation goes as badly as it did with Wash, where Ryan’s head is filled with ghosts of memories and Jeremy recalls names of people he never knew. Where they were among the failures of the AI project. 

But you also got your NON ANGST route where Ryan gets a snarky AI he nicknames ‘Gavin’ and Jeremy becomes fast friends with his ‘Michael’. And even though the AI aren’t supposed to talk to each other Ryan and Jeremy can’t help but notice how well Michael and Gavin get on, whether it’s relaying conversation through Ryan and Jeremy or actually talking face-to-face. But then Ryan and Jeremy really see how well they work together when Gavin starts helping Jeremy, when Michael starts accounting for Ryan in his survival stats, when they all become a unit and work together mostly seamlessly. Where they all get out together and no one rips the implants from them - no one rips their friends away. 

Sorry, that got long but I just - I have THOUGHTS about this AU it’s fucking great.

Also, big thing that happened over the weekend Will Friedle liked and replied to my Kashaw cosplay, the day I tweeted it to him, and I freaked out in the middle of a Whataburger-- My friend, AgentDragon, also surprised me with an autograph from Will too, and I teared up so had

So when Agent Massachusetts learns he got paired with Agent Georgia, the guy he's heard so much ominous stuff about, he was SUPER anxious and worried because??? This guy is apparently insane??? Only to find not TWO MISSIONS AFTER MEETING HIM that Agent Georgia is really just a nerd who's good with a knives and nicknamed himself 'the Mad King' but Jeremy really likes the idea of being friends with a psycho (he needs people to start taking him more seriously anyways) so he goes with it. - Agent 🐉

YES. Y E S. Agent Georgia being known for the oddest things - that axe stuck in the ceiling of the training room? Georgia. The ship that somehow landed without any landing gear? Georgia. - and Jeremy’s understandably wary when he meets him for the first time but it doesn’t take long to learn that Georgia’s not psycho at all. 

And when Ryan sees that he’s been paired with the agent with the loudest, brightest armour he almost fucking screams because for god’s sakes, Massachusetts, this is a stealth mission! but then they find out, together, that maybe stealth isn’t. quite. their strong point. (See: all the BB LPs.)
