The Jules being a tsundere thing ™️ comes from his fear of allowing himself to be vulnerable and getting mocked / hurt because of it— so he chooses to be purposefully someone who most people wouldn't want around,,, Its a "you cant leave me if i leave first" kind of thing

He also just gets easily flustered because the man cant take a compliment for the life of him, so Jules gets upset and embarrassed and masks it by calling you a fuckinf idiot
