Can't get over how the "generic" (ie, not based on any specific actor) James Bond used in Agent Under Fire just looks like a 40 year old Sterling Archer And I'm so glad I'm not the only person who made this joke
I think it's kind of interesting that this cut scene sets up a gunfight like it's a sword duel or something, even if it's hard to do that convincingly.

007: Agent Under Fire (PS2)
007 slop
They can't all be zingers. Perfectly serviceable 007 FPS, it's no GoldenEye but at least I don't have to touch an N64 controller. Weapons feel weightless, gadgets are uninspired. Notably missing a melee button, though that might be the recent Enter The Matrix playthrough talking. The story is all over the place, jumping back and forth between Europe and Hong Kong for 5-15 minute missions in an extremely unsatisfying way. You can cheese the final boss by standing in the right spot and holding R1, and that is a pretty accurate representation of the game as a whole. Mid.
Ironically, I couldn't get my disc to boot so I played the game I originally used to softmod my PS2 off of a flash drive, only possible due to said softmod.
Although the new #007 game isn't launching this week, our podcast covering the series' first outing on PlayStation 2 is. Join us as we discuss our time playing #AgentUnderFire and see how it holds up today.
