Unspoken Definites || Yoona and Taemin
Yoona tapped her foot against the floor as she looked around the restaurant for any sign of the boy she was supposed to have lunch with. He better not have bailed on me. She now knew how parents felt when they were meeting their children's boy/girlfriends without their son/daughter. She wasn't sure how she felt about Kai and Taemin dating. While she was sure Taemin wouldn't screw Kai over and she was certain that the brat was going to be a good boyfriend, she couldn't help but feel a little betrayed. She wondered if Taemin knew about Kai's history with one of the boys in their team's Chinese unit. She wanted to give the boy a chance; she really did. However, there was just a part of her that wanted the romance between Kai and that boy from before to rekindle itself.
She frowned as she checked herself in her compact mirror, not a hair was out of place and her dress was appropriate for the location. She was also discreetly checking for any shady characters who would interrupt this conversation. Satisfied with everything so far, she kept her compact mirror. Just as she was about to mark Taemin as "late," she saw a familiar figure heading her way. She put on her friendliest smile as the boy made his way to their table.
"Good afternoon, Taemin," Yoona said, smiling up at him, "Thanks for joining me for lunch today."
