Sora placed remaining two of six dog bowl on the floor as the puppy scrambled towards it. “Easy there,” she laughed watching all the puppies nibbling away at their food. “Seems like Charlie and James bailed on dinner tonight so I guess that means more food for the four of us.” Walking to the kitchen, she gave a busy Huck a kiss on the cheek.

"Look at them, you're so good with them Sora. You'll make an amazing mum one day, we all know where Yuki has got it from." Maria beamed watching Sora with the puppies.

"I'm actually pretty glad, they're both normally eyeing up my left overs before I've finished and I don't want to share at the minute. I'm famished, I can't seem to stop eating." Maria admitted as she stole some fruit from the bowl Huck was using to decorate pastries. "I don't think my waist is thanking me, especially given I've not exactly been walking it off with Barney." Maria said chewing her lip.

Roxy moved to turn the valves as instructed, her vitals moving to a state that was only a tad bit concerning. I’ve been trained. I’m being trained.

Being caught nervous didn’t help much but made her just a little bit more; apart from the risks that she had well understood before partaking, the thought of failing crossed her mind. But she wasn’t about to give up just yet; she took in a deep breath, exhaling through her nostrils slowly, half-hoping Sora could just be there.

Too late for that, now. “Alright, Scotch. I suppose I ought to give this a go. Sooner over the better.”

She waited for further instruction, mind set on bringing the aircraft to the nearest Kingsman-owned hangar, and just take a long stroll home. Perhaps a drink before and after.

023, the back of an empty bus (agent-scotch)

It was dusk when Tanner finally woke up. The ache at the back of his head was making him nauseous and it was taking far too long for his eyes to adjust to the darkening sepia tone that had settled around him.

The dawning realization of being in an abandoned bus came along with the fact that he was tied firmly to the back seat with thick zip ties. Panic spiked in his chest, as he tested just how firmly his bonds were holding.

The windows of the bus were too dirty to get a read on where he might be, and there was little to no noise outside. All he could do now was sit and wait.

James bit his tongue at her immediate decision to criticise Mi. Repeatedly.

He was no blind follower, he knew his agency had more than a few problems, but even so - a stranger immediately ragging on the place he dedicated his life to was hardly PLEASANT. But he was hurt and annoyed and not about to take it out on somebody else.

Mean had never been his style.

"Well, I'm not one to complain, I suppose. The idea of trekking to the border with this much blood loss wasn't exactly appealing." And the shirt on the floor, once white but now almost entirely red, was all the proof he needed of that. Even his hands remained bloodied, a rogue smear appearing on his cheek as he pushed his hair back out if his face.

"Let's start again, shall we? James Spencer." His hand was held out to shake, a friendly smile masking the pain as he looked at her. "Thank you for the help. And if it's all the same to you, I would rather NOT have that morphine."

Q always went to the end-of-year party as any good department head should; smiling and nodding and praising his staff to their partners and families as everyone socialised in the most bizarre way to him. With a glass of scotch in hand, he stepped out of the main room and into one of the side corridors to try and find a way outside, only to realise the space was occupied.

"I didn't realise you would have come to this." He admitted as he took a sip of his drink and raised an eyebrow. "I suppose it's good for a sense of... Comradery?" Q didn't really know; he was hardwired to adore his agents and staff without so much fanfare.

“Bear,” Sora called for their closet dressed in a black and gold dress. “Have you seen my heels?”

"Why would I know where your heels-" Huck started to respond and then remembered Corndog had chewed them to shit and he'd meant to buy her some new ones but he'd forgotten. It was okay, somewhere would be open, they could find someone from somewhere and she definitely had another pair just not her favourites.... he thought. And then he looked up at her and whistled. "Oh, oh you are- you're tryin' to kill me aren't you. You know I'm not rich right. If you give me a heart attack I ain't got nothin' to leave you." Huck grinned moving closer to her, eyes roaming over her.

“I think she finds your tail just as adorable as you are,” she flirted while putting down her tools and walking over. Maria had asked her to help repair the sleigh from a mysterious ‘accident’. Sora, of course, agreed. Picking up the black cat, her brow arched seeing the hanging greenery. “What’s this?” She asked cradling the cat in her arms.

"I gotta get her a toy or something, maybe the elves can knock somethin' up, it is attached to me and it's kinda startin' to hurt." Huck said rubbing his tail and wincing gently. Completely missing the compliment with being too focused on the sting in his lower back.

He couldn't stay mad though, he couldn't stay mad at anyone but especially not Yuki or Sora.

And as if the very air could read his thoughts another bring of mistletoe seemed to blossom in the air and Huck swatted it away as he started to blush.

"Nothin', keeps happening and I ain't sure why, this ain't my holiday! Maybe the magics a little.... out of sorts because of y'know the divorce." He whispered it as though that would make talking about it easier.
