Alex is scheming for ACW 2021..
Alex: “Okay, but what if... we make a giant banner to float the words, ‘Please vote for us!’ and then at the end, do a little heart with ‘Alex and Lena’. And then, we attach it to your helicopter, fly over the city until we’re low on gas, so we can get as many people to see it as possible!”
Alex: “You’re right, it might blend in with the sky. Maybe we use brighter colors. Oh! Maybe have led lights to get attention and-”
Alex: “Okay, yea. Bigger. Gotta think bigger. I think-”
[Lena cups Alex’s arm and stops them, causing Alex to pause questioningly]
Alex: “Hm? What’s wrong?”
[Lena smiles fondly and shakes her head, then tucks Alex’s hair to the side]
Lena: “You’re overthinking it, love. The votes will keep coming. The fans will come through. We’ve already seen a lot of support.”
[A corner of Alex’s mouth rise up, lips slanted, as worry lines form at her brow. She then sighs.]
Lena: “Alex?” [She then starts to run her hand along Alex’s arm]
Alex [half-pouting]: “I kinda just wanted to take the copter out for a ride. Ever since I left the DEO, I don’t get to ride any cool crafts anymore... Other than my bike that is.”
[Lena grins and rolls her eyes, kisses Alex on the cheek, then takes her by the hand and out the door]
Lena: “You could’ve just asked you know.”
Alex: “I didn’t think you’d say yes... Wait, where are we going?”
Lena: “Al, know if there’s anything I could do to make you ecstatic and giddy like a little school girl, I would. Watching those big brown eyes of yours light up, makes it all worth it.”
[Alex grins and stops in her tracks. She pulls Lena towards her, then cups her cheeks and kisses her with glee]
Alex: “I love you Lena Luthor. You’re seriously the best.”
Lena [rolls her eyes, smiling at the flattery, then leans into Alex’s frame]: “You’re just lucky I have a lot of cool toys.”
Alex [still grinning with excitement, but settles down]: “Yes but...I do love you you know. Like, a lot a lot.”
Lena [giggles lightly]: “And I love you more, Alex Danvers.”
