[ Headcanon ask, if you'd like: What are Maggie's thoughts on Tara? ]
i think maggie appreciates her, especially since she helped glenn find his way back to her. i also think that before tara told maggie the truth about which side she was originally on, she thought that she was a kind person, someone strong and capable. if you remember in the boxcar some people were having doubts about rick and co. returning to release them. carl, and maggie believed and i think seeing them believe, helped tara get the courage to do so as well. it inspired her as well as others. good people are hard to come by in the world they're in, so i believe maggie value's her friendship.
now when tara told her the truth, i knew that maggie would forgive her and not hold it against her. maggie was raised in a household where religion was very important, and a part of her christian faith is finding the strength to forgive people. maggie was there in that field, no she didn't have a front row seat, but she realized that it was the governor who beheaded her father. yeah, maybe she had her doubts when tara told her, but the fact that tara found it in her to tell her the truth, maggie appreciates it. tara could of easily kept quiet and let her continue to believe glenn found her on the road.
