a baseball cap and a blue jacket wasn't exactly the best disguise in the world, but steve had learned pretty early on that if you kept your head down and your shoulders hunched, no one really looked your way ( not unless you looked sketchy ) . it was helpful when he didn't want to wear a complicated disguise or that terrible outfit natasha had forced him into when they were on the run from HYDRA / SHIELD, but part of the problem of trying to blend in and be invisible --
was that people tended to bump into you.
raising his head with a jerk, steve gave the person an apologetic look but tried not to stay too close to them.
