it’s truly been a hell of a day. the day started off with waverly being put up to a customer who truly didn’t know what the word teamwork or compromise was. everything had to go their own way, and in the business of design, most things couldn’t go one way. it was a collaborative job for a reason, mainly to fix the flaws in a client’s idea to make it actually look good, but this one wasn’t budging. she wanted what she wanted, and waverly was just getting irritated with it from the start. she’d never been able to hold her temper, and today as quickly testing her. after that, it was one minor inconvenience after the other - leaving waverly exhausted and truly pissed off by the end of the day. not to mention, her daughter was well into her terrible two’s, and not holding back to prove it. she was finally able to go home, only having to withstand one more bus ride before she could go to bed. well, that’s what she thought. waverly wasn’t really the best at keeping track of time and truly thought she’d make it to the bus perfectly on time. to her luck, walking around the corner only revealed a bus pulling away from the bus stop. “no, no, no!!” she shouted quickly, not having the energy to wait for the next bus, her instinct telling her to run after the bus, and she did. she sprinted only for a few seconds before realizing that it simply was no use, the bus wasn’t going to stop for an idiot who missed it. “goddamnit - goddamnit.” she mumbled to herself, shaking her head. “i missed the bus... what idiot misses the fucking bus?” she continued under her breath, a deep sign escaping her lips.
