It was very rare that Cynthia drank more than a couple of drinks, especially if she was alone. However, being her night off and having fairly good relations with coworkers; it seemed only natural. They gladly offered her employee discounts as well. A deep sigh drifted off her lips, tucking her elbows under her hands and pinching her eyes closed. The scent of whisky drifted off of her as she nearly stumbled over Ian. Her arm had shot out to catch herself against the wall next to the door; most likely unable to mount her bike and get home.Ā ā Sorry. ā She mumbled after a momentās realization that she had about ran into him.Ā āĀ Just . . getting by. ā
Ian smiled slightly at Cynthia when she came over to him. He looked at her, and then he said: āItās fine.ā He looked around the bar, and then he spokeĀ āDo you need a ride home. You donāt really seem like youāre in the state of mind to go home by yourself.ā He paused for a moment, and then he said to himself āYay, now I sound like the creepy ass guy from some movie..ā He looked at her and then he said: āJust to clarify Iām not being creepy I donāt want you to get hurt or something I can have someone pick up my shift for a little bit.ā
