Manhattan Music Coalition announces headliners and ticket pre-sale for Aggiefest 2013

Aggiefest celebrates live music in Manhattan by combining the powers of local musicians with folks from around the country, and world. Over two days 60+ bands and performers will fill 122 play slots at 8 venues throughout the Ville, ranging in genre from bluegrass to death metal to dubstep. Sound familiar? We're not straying too far from the Aggiefest formula, but we are kicking it up a bit. Instead of 30 minute sets, full bands now get hour long sets, with change-out times on either side to ensure you get a full dose of awesome from each and every band. We've also booked 8 headliners from 8 different genres to close out both nights of Aggiefest 2013. They are, in no particular order: Andy Frasco and the U.N. I know. We're crazy. But we like it that way. Another new thing is that this event kicks off a new era for the Manhattan Music Coalition. With the funds raised via this event, all local member bands and artists will collectively purchase advertising, promotion, and even venue space for upcoming member shows. How do they become a member band? Simply by playing in Aggiefest! So now we can give back to all those bands who give up their time for AF, and also provide them with year-round promotional support via MMC funding!
