10/8/19 update

I look forward to my biweekly counseling sessions. I feel I wouldn’t be doing as well in school without them. Classes are going well, I’m getting out of my comfort zone and speaking up more. I’ve even made a few friends.

Homecoming is this week, but as a graduate student, I don’t feel the same excitement. I attended the pep rally but since it’s mostly for undergrads I didn’t get as much enjoyment out of it. Don’t get me wrong I love Bowie, but North Carolina A&T has really spoiled me, I’m not impressed by OTC. Patiently waiting for GHOE 💙💛

I became an alumna of the ILLUSTRIOUS North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in three years. I graduated Summa Cum Laude, finishing the spring 2019 semester with a 3.92 GPA, and my college career with a 3.8. My next stop is graduate school to obtain my masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I want to document this journey into the next chapter of my life, and I want to share it with anyone who would like to be a part of it. My life as a COBE kid is officially coming to an end 🎉🥂🎉 This feels like a true victory for me. As a first generation college student, graduating from one of the most prominent HBCUs in the nation is such a blessing. This COBE kid will be graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science in Supply Chain Management and starting her career with a Forbes Fortune 500 company with a generous salary in Orlando, FL.
