The very last second before landing with my feet on the sand... Our physical practice is one of the best ways of TRAINING OUR MIND to be PRESENT. . If we are completely absorbed in the NOW when practicing, each single section of the transitions from one posture to the other, become a prayer itself, a meditation. . Our mind is always focused on where to arrive, on the destination, not on the way towards the posture, but on the posture that is being pursued. And when we finally reach the objective, then our mind goes to the next posture, to the one that has not even started. Start by being present in every single moment of your asana, in every single part of your body. Instead, I chose to embrace the gift of another hour of that incomparable Mediterranean morning light.It was then that I discovered what had been hiding in plain sight since my pre-dawn arrival—a charming chapel carved from sandstone standing quietly beside my parking spot at Agios Sostis harbor. Sometimes the most memorable images are those we never planned to capture.This tiny sanctuary, barely large enough for my daughter Gracie and me to enter simultaneously, revealed itself in the gentle morning glow. The warm light accentuated every texture and contour of its weathered facade, creating a perfect harmony between architecture and environment that defines my fine art approach.What fascinates me about this particular image is the mystery it holds.
