So it's official. The Alice in Wonderland idea for my 20th birthday is a GO!

Alisha and Rachel are on board to help with planning and such, and I know it's gonna be great! Alisha said that everyone should save up to come out for the actual party, buuut I know the likelihood of that soyeah. I know money's tight for everyone right now. :)

When: Saturday, November 24th, 2012 Where: Our apartment Time: Noon/1pm-7pm (end time may be subject to change; depends on amount of fun being had) What: Kelsey's 20th Birthday Tea Party Extravaganza!

Don't freak out, the costumes don't have to be elaborate. They're just for fun! (Honestly, if you show up wearing all white and call yourself the White Queen, I'll be satisfied. xD) And don't worry about if they're classic, Disney, or Tim Burton inspired. Everyone's gonna look great, no matter what. :D

So basically we're all gonna dress up and look awesome and get together to have a great time! There'll be tea and cookies (and other food) and music and video games--maybe we'll even watch one of the Alice in Wonderland movies! If the weather's nice enough, we'll go out and take some pictures of everyone at the park, and then we'll wrap it all up with dinner at Olive Garden! (Yes--in costume.)

(I understand that this is Thanksgiving weekend and many of you may be out of town. I'll understand if that's the reason you can't make it. I have a friend flying in from L.A. that weekend, which is why I wanted to have it the actual weekend of my birthday (November 25). I wanted her to be able to be here for the party. ^^)

I've compiled a list of characters for people to choose from (as this will be a costume party). Everyone should claim one, just 'cause! Alice, the Mad Hatter, the March Hare, the Dormouse, the Cheshire Cat, the Red Queen, and the White Rabbit have already been claimed.

Again, the costumes don't have to be all-out. There's not going to be a contest or anything. It's just for fun! I mean, you can't go to a Wonderland tea party without proper dress, can you?

My questions (steph....these you are perfect)

1) Have you ever sang/danced in public, not including concerts or obligatory concerts?

I'm guessing that also excludes the obligatory high school dances? if you consider a neighborhood public, yes. when it just starts raining I like to run out and dance barefoot with no jacket and just enjoy the sprinkles :) I think I've also danced around campus on a walk with steph and travis...hmm anyway!

2) Have you ever been obsessed with anything? What was it?

obsessed? that's a pretty strong word...I go through phases with many things where I REALLY really like said thing, but then it fades, and becomes like most of the other things I like: a background admiration/like/something-of-the-sort/(I'm not really sure of a good word here) kinda thing.....

3) The question everyone seems to debate over unendingly: Ten or Eleven?

ten. definitely. now that I've seen a few of each, I'm still for the first doctor I ever saw, david tennant is just the perfect doctor, I think matt smith is just a bit too crazy, and chris eccleston(wow I spelled that right!) is just a bit too serious. david is righ inbetween :) 

4) Do you have trouble falling asleep?

depends on the day and who I'm with. I used to have the absolute worst troubles with sleep, but since I got my bracelet I sleep much better, though I do still wake when I toss and turn (which is a fair amount). I've found that when I sleep next to someone, I wake far less and sleep much better all-round(unless that person is my sister who is literally like a radiator. she just suffocates me and I don't sleep at all)  

5) Are you a car singer? Dancer?

steph knows for a fact that I am both. especially on my lonely commute to work every day. :)  story time for steph! yesterday I took a ride with a good buddy of mine, and he played queen's bycicle, I started cracking up and singing/dancing along. I couldn't help but think of you :)

6) Do you like to cook/bake?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA NO. I can't cook worth anything. The only reason the meal with michael worked the other day was because of one thing...michael made it work. I can bake cakes and some desserts, but even then I mess up quite a bit.

7) What is one item you own that you would die without?

oh geeze...probably my phone. I hate to say that, but I am always texting my friends or michael  

8) What is something that most people enjoy that you can’t stand?

easy. chocolate. dark chocolate especially. 

9) If you had to give up something you loved to make a friend happy, would you do it?

yes. my friends mean the world to me.

10) Would you dye your hair? If so, what color?

I'm actually thinking of dying it black :P 

11) Craziest thing you’ve ever done, off the top of your head? 

stayed at my boyfriend's house. my dad is actually starting to get really angry
