I've just watched the two first episodes of 911 lone star and...wow.

first of all: i love love how they deal with trauma and mental health. Like, it is so rare to find a tv show that can actually address these issues in such a sensitive and deep way?? And I would be lying if I told you I didn't cry during the second episode jwkdms

Also. THE CHARACTERS. so much diversity, so many interesting personalities and backgrounds?? I'm literally in love with all of them so far 😭

And I really like the contrast between heavy themes/storylines and that hint of humor scattered all over the episodes. I find it so enjoyable!!

Trust me when I say that I've been looking for new stuff to watch for months, and FINALLY some good tv show!! Aaaa you saved me <3

I can't wait to watch the next episodes *screams*

yes literally the fact that owen is so focused on mental health and no one really gives him crap about it is just so amazing to me to be seeing in a tv show like this. like you have stereotypical macho-ness of the firefighting profession juxtaposed with therapy, healthy eating, yoga, difficult conversations, etc etc and it makes me so happy. and it continues!!! throughout the whole show!!!! they never give up on it!!!!!

THE CHARACTERS!!!! the characters <33 i'd be lying if i said i couldn't choose a favorite bc i think my pfp gives it away (tk strand my beloved <3) but literally all of them after that is just. impossible to decide. like carlos and marjan and grace and judd and mateo and gwyn (who i don't think you've met yet but u will eventually) and just all of them tie for second i cannot choose. they are all amazing.

seriously i am so so happy you like it!! it's easily one of my absolute fav shows pls keep me updated on how you're liking it <33

babe I've finally caught up with the latest episodes and I have so many thoughts right now

first: 3x04 !!!!!!!! (I loved everything here. nancy my beloved, grace's childbirth, carlos mum<3, tarlos perfect reunion- like best episode ever)

but WHY killing gwyn?? (same goes for charles, but that was in the second season hjwjxj) like my boy tk has already gone through so much, was it really necessary??😭 however, 3x08 was just beautiful (tk's past as an addicted, the relationship with his mum, carlos being the best boyfriend ever *I can't*)

GWYN. gwyn. i miss her so much i'm so sad she's gone BUT MORE OF TK'S BACKGROUND !!! trying to focus on the bright side while also being absolutely devastated that gywn is gone. i really hope it means we get to see jonah more and finally meet enzo tho.

carlos this last episode was just *chefs kiss* perfect. literally owns my heart and mind.

seriously it is SO GOOD you would not regret it i promise. like it starts off kind of heavy and dramatic but then the general tone is (in my opinion) very lighthearted and funny.

it's nice bc it actually does deal with some very heavy real life issues and circumstances but the whole emphasis of the show is on recovery and healing and moving on past hardship and oppression and trauma. it's cool to actually see that represented in a tv show instead of just dragging out sad storylines for the sake of drama
