she used the olive at the end of the toothpick to stir the martini. brown eyes were glued to the bottom of the glass, staring right through the water like liquid. just that martini was a little bit stronger than water. behind the heavy and colorful makeup, adriana was clearly sulking. all night had she tried to avoid him, had taken turns in the middle of her path just not to bump into the blond idiot. and yet she’d come face to face with him and he ruined the whole party for her with just one sentence. the most frustrating part was that he didn’t seem very fazed by the sharp words she’d thrown back at him. sighing deeply, the brunette just nodded her head when somebody approached and asked to take the seat next to her. “make yourself a home.” she hummed before taking a large sip from her glass.
