As a dad, Agnol is pretty hands off if you want to be charitable. Uninvolved and kind of a deadbeat if you don't.
It suited Venus well enough growing up. You know she was up to some mad shit in her teens.

Fun fact 69:
Agnol's title is deep king to Deep Colosseum, but in japanese og translation, courtesy of Deep colo's JP name, ボトムコロシアム (Bottom Colosseum), his title is ボトムキング (Bottom King). Make out what you will.
agnol replied to your post “All my friends: so we understand why you ship Jaime/Brienne but…”
There’s a lot of room for love in Tormund’s heart.
Yeah but Gwendoline Christie apparently thinks that Brienne/Tormund is a no-go. Plus, he really doesn’t get her. He calls her a “beast of a woman” but she doesn’t want to be a beast. And really everyone calls her that. Everyone except Jaime.
19 for Venus >:)
Thanks for the ask, this one was fun~
"I can't explain it"
Agnol set his glass down on the couch table and leaned back, decidedly out of place in the hot pink armchair he was sitting in.
"So let me summarize," he began. "You decided to work with Cipher. You got along well with the old bosses. Then one of them made his nephew a decoy boss of sorts. Shady guy, people on the streets say he's insane. He then caught you killing someone and somehow this is how you two ended up dating."
"Not dating," Venus corrected calmly, "we're just friends. With benefits because he's hot."
"Right." Agnol let out a sigh. "And as if that wasn't enough, years later Cipher leadership decided to hire this foreign twink to do science for them and you... are now trying to date him?"
"Wrong again. Nassie is trying to date him. I just want my piece of the cake too."
"So you cheated on your boss? Or your boss' boy toy cheated on him with you? Which one is it?"
"Neither. I can't cheat on someone I'm not dating and Ein refuses to believe that anyone is dating him, so I guess he can't cheat either."
Agnol let his head fall back with a groan. "Doll, what are you getting yourself into?"
Venus looked at her own empty glass, then used the opportunity to swipe his half full one from the couch table.
"Nothing, daddy. Nobody is mad at me, nobody is trying to kill me, I'm having fun. What else could you want?"
"Better company for you."
"We're criminals. Under trash. Remember?" She emptied the glass and set it back down harder than intended. The bitterness showed despite her best efforts.
"Yes, we are." Agnol raised his head to look at her pensively. "But this man, your boss... he's among the worst."
"He's good to me because he knows what's good for him," Venus retorted, then grinned. "And don't you think it's a bit late for you to suddenly be concerned? What is this, are you going to tell me "be home by 10 and no boys" next?"
"Whenever I see you with that freak I almost wish I could."
Agnol glanced down at the table and frowned when he found his glass empty. He decided against commenting on it.
"Can you at least tell me why? Why all of this, why these two?"
Venus thought about it for a moment. It was a good question. Ein was regularly rude to her and Nascour... he was a gentleman, the prettiest man she'd ever seen and they got along great, but she would be lying if she said that he wasn't dangerous and his aura powers weren't the single most inconvenient thing she had encountered in her entire life. Him, she could never deceive or manipulate.
"I can't explain it," she said eventually. "I suppose the challenge makes it fun."
Venus for 22 bestie <3
Wonderful opportunity to discuss a newer headcanon I'm working on, thank you <3
[People who’ve influenced Venus greatly, ask game here]
The most influential person in Venus' life was undoubtedly Agnol. Now, back in the day Agnol was basically in a similar position as Venus is now, a sort of "de facto ruler" or at least one of the most influential and powerful people in The Under, Duking's counterpart if you will.
While the mining operations down there were still going strong, there were lots of minor and several major accidents, such as mine shafts collapsing, explosions and fires. When Venus was a little girl, her family lost their lives in one of these accidents, and she herself barely escaped, wounded and unable to remember anything, even her own name. Despite everything, she soon proved herself to be tenacious and capable of surviving in the harsh environment of The Under, and Agnol saw her potential, eventually deciding to take her in.
You could say that he basically raised Venus, from letting her choose a new name for herself to providing resources to teaching her how to not only to get by, but also get ahead in The Under, though their relationship was always more akin to mentor/student, even if they're somewhat fond of each other in a vaguely familial manner to this day. Agnol never cared much about the people of The Under beyond his inner circle and as long as nobody crossed him, he saw no reason to get involved; unlike Duking who actively protects the people of Pyrite Town and tries to uphold the law. However, Agnol had been entertaining the idea of creating a successor of sorts and decided that someone like Venus - who is both a charismatic person with a pretty face and a fierce, merciless daughter of The Under, familiar with the dark, criminal sides of Orre - would do well in such a position.
When Venus grew up, Agnol used his connections to get her started in the TV business as well, feeling that this would further the plan he had for her. It eventually reached completion once Venus took the final step: Challenging Agnol. And not just to what Orrean criminals call a "show-battle", no, a "real" one - involving not only Pokémon, but also their trainers, and disregarding any sort of code trainers in other regions have the luxury to abide by. The streets of Orre are a different battlefield. And Agnol didn't go easy on her. Still, Venus managed to emerge victorious in the end, and he was content, withdrawing to the Deep Colosseum and spending most of his time there, a sort of "retirement".
The "tacit agreement", if you will, between Agnol and Venus is that he stays out of her affairs - he also doesn't care much about how she uses her power and what decisions she makes, for example he doesn't exactly trust Cipher, but didn't object to her decision to join either - and she leaves him alone and doesn't try to kick him out of The Under or anything. Agnol also let her and her co-workers hang out in the Deep Colosseum when Cipher was... in a bit of a situation after the events of Colo. Ahem.
More minor influences in Venus' life include various TV personalities and celebrities that she's observed and analyzed over years to learn their "tricks" - aside from technical things like how to host a show or how to be a better actress, she tends to be most curious about how these people become popular and stay relevant. Venus' greatest feat as an entertainer have never been any shows she was in or any roles she played - it's the persona she crafted, Lady Venus of Orre, the beautiful and beloved diva. One person in particular that she's had her eyes on is Diantha whom she hates with a passion for being everything she wants to be, but also wants to study under a microscope.
Lastly, you could also say that in recent years Nascour has become influential in Venus' life. She likes her "mob bestie with benefits", and they enable and make each other worse. Even Ein gets slightly worried when they start giggling about murder again.
