VICINITY: Santo Tomas, Pangasinan
Santo Tomas is a small municipality located in the province of Pangasinan. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 15,022 people. Santo Tomas is politically subdivided into 10 barangays. The town is rich in yellow corn, palay, coconut, tobacco, poultry and livestock. Santo Tomas was a recipent of a Guiness World Record for ‘longest barbecue grill’ in its 103rd founding anniversary. Santo Tomas lies beside the beautiful Agno River.
One of the problems arising nowadays is the contamination and minor pollution of the Agno River in the vicinity of Santo Tomas. In this blog, we are aiming to be heard so that change will happen.
