I mean I still think Usagi should exist but I just feel the whole series would've been stronger as a whole if NT went with the team expansion but still kept Minako as the lead, Usagi honestly works better as a plot device or the maguffin character that's "an all important figure meant to be protected" rather than a MC with " issues." With Usagi as a lead you just get the archtypical shonen 'pure of heart but too dumb' Goku type of situation which honestly doesn't make for a compelling MC.
