Interview with the Manwhore.
1. What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Perfect happiness? Bullshit, nothing like that exists, you can never be 100% happy because there’s always something that is bothering you, even though you think you have no problems to worry about. But I guess a nice afternoon spent with my family or friends, without the constant bickering is what makes me feel better. Cheesy, I know but it’s true.
2. What is your greatest fear?
I bet some of people will say that I fear commitment or STDs. Well, yeah. But that’s not what is my greatest fear. Disappointing my parents more than I already have is what keeps me awake at night. I try my best to be good now but sometimes it just doesn’t work out.
3. What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?
Sometimes I get too cocky and arrogant. But I can’t help it that I’m more talented and popular than others and I ain’t gonna apologize for that. SHUT THE FUCK UP, ALEXANDER.
4. What is the trait you most deplore in others?
I hate when people who constantly kiss ass to get to you and talk behind your back. It’s really annoying, if you have some problem with me, just tell me, man.
5. Whom do you most admire/ do you think of as a hero?
I think that’d be my parents. They worked so hard to end up on Broadway and they still bust their asses to provide us with everything we need. Even though they work a lot, we know that they’re always there for us whenever we need them.
6. What is your current state of mind?
I’ve just finished all of my homework so I’m pretty chill. Now it’s time for some Oreos and coffee and I will be just in heaven.
7. What do you consider the most overrated virtue?
I would say it’s honesty. No one is 100% honest, not even with themselves. And sometimes it’s better to keep the truth to yourself.
8. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
When it comes to an appearance, I don’t think I’d change anything. I even like my butt chin. Personality wise, I guess I could try to be less of an asshole, I mean, I’m pretty nice but sometimes I snap and shit goes down.
9. When and with whom was your first kiss?
I don’t remember, to be honest. I guess it was at some party, during spin the bottle game or seven minutes in heaven. These two are similar games. See, there were no fireworks and tears. It wasn’t as meaningful as much as the teenagers in movies make it out to be. Just a kiss.
10. Have you ever been in love? If so, describe what happened.
Yes, it was back when we still lived in New York. I was young, maybe I mistook infatuation for love but it definitely was the most powerful I’ve ever felt to another person who’s not related to me. His name was Joey Rogers, he was a bad boy and he was older than me. Unfortunately things went too bad, I got dragged in some serious shit and he just… disappeared. I still have some great memories of that time and I usually try not to scratch the old wounds.
11. Are you optimistic or pessimistic?
I tend to think that the glass is usually half full. Of course, I sometimes feel blue but there’s no person, who’s constantly a ray of sunshine.
12. How do you keep calm/what helps you relax?
When I’m really stressed I go out for a smoke, it’s a terrible habit and the worst thing for my vocal chords but it’s not like I smoke like a dragon. Usually though I prefer just casually play xbox or watch TV, sipping on a drink or eating cookies.
13. What are some songs that always make you feel better?
I always listen to Disney songs, I can safely say that I know all of them by heart. There’s just something magical with them, they’re part of your childhood, I remember sitting with my parents on the couch on a lazy Sunday morning, with pancakes and jam all over the furniture and watching Aladdin or The Lion King.
14. Who was the last person you called? what was the reason for the call?
It was a cute nerd I met in Starbucks. His name is Warren and even though we’re different we really got on like a house on fire. We just talked about movies and as lame as it sounds- school. He promised to help me with Science and I promised to take him out on a date.
15. Why did you Audition for the glee club/what was your audition song?
There’s a Berry and St. James blood running through my veins, why do you think I auditioned for the glee club? At first I was a bit wary about it, since I don’t want to take over the “family business” but I don’t know, it is fun and my parents were so happy when I told them I was going to audition. Like my mum says: Being a part of something special makes you special. I auditioned with “Golden” by Fall Out Boy and I’m pretty sure that Patrick would be proud of my performance.
Shattered || Eowyn Manning
“This is all your fault! Had we never moved here, I would never have felt this way!”
“Calm down!”
“You don’t even care about me anymore, do you!?“
“Would I still be here if I didn’t?”
“All you care about is your stupid job and our impossible daughter!”
