[MAYBE has been gone for a month or so and returns very casually to sit on demp's bed while he's out and falls asleep there to whirling machines and Ghost (and maybe finally has Dempsey's gift as well picked up courtesy of a farmer on an outlier planet)??]

[ Joran is now officialy on Dempsey duty 24/7 just to make sure he doesn't work himself into the ground and when Joran isn't there he leaves Ghost as well just in case ]

[That's very kind of Joran but Demp doesn't even notice his existence 99% of the time. He's much too busy sitting cross legged on the floor and silently tinkering.]

[he shifts in his sleep and grumbles a little, opening one eye to glare at demp] I was sleeping. And it was a mission. The medbay cleared me for release and everything it’s fine. [he presses his face back into the pillows] Sorry I was gone.

I didn't mean to wake you... [huffs quietly and climbs onto the bed as well, nestling down and trying not to get too close to Joran just in case he's sore] It's okay. I know you have work. But I think you're losing your touch if you came back this injured.
