          Soft frown stretched on the others lips at the statement. He knew that this would be hard for the gems -- Pearl especially... But it was something he wanted to do. Something he felt he needed to do.

      The gem had been studying more and more about human culture recently -- especially in the romantic sections. He’d usually show Pearl the affection to test it out. It helped him understand humans better as well as show his feelings toward the smaller gem.

       He walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist gently before placing a small kiss on her neck. He had seen this on in a magazine somewhere in one of the shops and both of the humans involved looked happy. So why not?
