“Alright.” Greg smiled at her idly from where he lay, taking a moment before heaving himself up into a sit, one hand running through his sleep-ruffled hair.

“How’s a fry-up for you?” He stretched as he stood, catching her yawn on the tail-end of his words.

Dean sat crosslegged in the pew, the wood aged from centuries of wear, but still sound as the masonry that made up the walls. Looking up, he stared at the ceilings, the thick beams and the buttresses, it was beautiful in its own way, even though he wasn’t a religious man. He could appreciate the artistry that people used to take comfort in an invisible man.

Footsteps on the marble floor turned his head, and he took in the woman who walked down the aisle. She screamed government, but you could always tell who was these days.

“You might have a hard time finding a seat, just saying,” he joked quietly.

                she hadn’t IGNORED him. actually, it was quite the opposite. she listened to him, even TRIED to hide that badge. what in the world is an agent doing here? cops, he GETS, but that badge was far more shinier and important-looking than a cops-- hell, even a DETECTIVE’S. besides, shouldn’t she be doing, oh- he doesn’t know, AGENT things at some headquarters helping absolutely no one in the process?

                 he walks beside her, a nonchalant attitude coming forth. he puts his hands behind his back, walking rather-- sophisticated-like. ❛ you KNOW, if i v’was trying to blend in, i v’would leave my badge at HOME so it v’wouldn’t slip out or show z’rough z’at shirt of yours. just FRIENDLY advise. ❜ besides, this neighborhood wasn’t the most... kindly.

Greg stared at her in response, brow furrowed in groggy confusion. It took him a moment, but then what they must have done settled in and his eyes widened in shock.

“-- Holy shit, did we-?”

@agxntvanpelt || My muse is being held hostage and is being experimented on. Send me “What have they done to you?” for my muse’s response to yours finding them shackled and chained in a small room.

He’d been on a case. Three bodies had turned up, all having been injected multiple times with something that no one could name. Everyone was frustrated - Greg especially so - and the press was going insane at the lack of progress. And then Greg had gone missing whilst chasing a lead. He’d awoken in a small room, chained to a wall as a masked person injected him with something. He’d squirmed and struggled, but to no avail.

A few days later, and he’d been injected multiple times, barely eaten and spent more time unconscious than awake.

“– Gr’ce?” Greg slurred from where he was slumped against the wall, eye-lids fluttering as he tried to focus on her. He was too out of it, in too much pain and too doped-up on whatever they’d injected in him to speak properly. He tried to lift a hand towards her, but all he managed was a weak flap, the chains feeling too heavy. “S’a’ you-?”

1 - How do they celebrate their birthday?

// Not at all. He usually tries to forget about it and goes out to have a drink. Or two. Or probably six in the end. He hates his birthday, simply because the last one he actually really celebrated was his 12th. His parents stopped celebrating it after that.However, when he was married, Nadine would get him a cake or something, but they didn’t really celebrate it, either.
