why would i make my own when her original is so detailed and perfect
she was born in rural indonesia with the maeledictus (can transform into a beast at will, inherited from her mother and her mother's mother and so on) from her earliest years she knew that she was a curse, a disease that her mother gave her, that her mother sees herself in.
1920's she is kidnapped by a wizard circus and set to perform, she is essentially used as an animal by a group of white men who do not speak her language or understand her as a human in any capacity. its here that she has her first 'real' romance with Aurelius Dumbledore! (to understand their relationship at all just read Aurelius: "He knows who I am!"Nagini: "He knows what you were born as. Not who you are!")they escape the circus in the late 20's to rediscover their identities and confront Aurelius's brother (Albus) for abandoning him. this is where nagini's allegiance to Voldemort can first be seen, her loyalty isn't born of puritanism but of loyalty and love.
Aurelius abandons nagini to join tom riddle in the thirties, nagini is isolated and divested and alone for the first time in almost twenty years and inevitably follows him. after joining the death eaters she rises to a positions of upmost trust and sits alongside her halfblooded insecure boyfriend as a cursed asian woman in control of a room full of white pureblooded powerful families.
before Voldemort dies he turns her into a horcrux, shoves a piece of his living soul into her body and trusts her care for it, puts his life in her hands. and then he dies, and she's left stranded in a world where the only group of people who had respected her have hidden and scorned what she was and what she is.
then! remus/nagini time, a haven of safety and understanding, reclaiming personality and autonomy!
wizarding war starts again, nagini is confined to the body of a snake, trapped with a human mind in the body of an animal and dies degraded and untethered, completely disconnected from her life
