I’ll never be good enough for the classical piano music industry. let alone being an exceptional pianist.

they only appreciate prodigious children who complete the entire set of chopin etudes at the age of 12, right? And I haven’t tried playing one because my teacher says they’re still too much for me. Okay- i admit it. Even if I try to play one, I won’t be able to play it perfectly.

“your technique and musicality are not supporting you.”, he said. that means i have literally no hope. I can’t even finish studying the first Ballade, so what??? there are 11 year-olds playing that piece flawlessly. 

None of my family had career in music. Not even one plays a musical instrument. So why do I even expect to excel in music?? stupid me. most of the prodigies i mentioned above come from musical families, with moms and dads who teach music. and they’re hella rich, I’m telling you. they can afford masterclasses and hold solo recitals in a country 23958085 kilometers away and still live in luxury. For comparison, I might have to sleep on the streets if I attempt to do those things. lel.
