Rewatching Fear Street and wondering: was Martin was old enough to have attended Nightwing in 1978?

Hm. I mean, if we say he's about 30 in 1994, he would have been born about 1964. So about 14 in 1978. Which fits with him being a little younger than Ziggy&Nick (presuming they are around 16 and 18, respectively). We could even say born 1966 and make him 12 in 1978. That being said, I can't picture him there, or at least not with Nick and Ziggy, because I think it would have changed his interactions with them in '94......
