why can't i use telekinesis? T^T
it's Feb. 13th and I can't wait to read yaoi ALL DAY TOMORROW!!
So, the Tumblr questions I finally got around to :p
1. Why did you choose your URL?
Originally, I was moonbuny, but I my friends made fun of me and I finally got around to changing it. (I was 16 when I decided on it, 17 when I changed it.) I'd been using moonbuny and other variations since I'd read Sailor Moon, but I'd found other manga besides it that I super enjoyed so I finally got around to changing it and I chose katocha-lol because I'd read Gantz recently. Even though he wasn't my favorite character, the Gantz ball's nickname for him really cracked me up. (pretty sure it's a pun but idk what for...) At first it was just my PSN (in a different form) because everything else was taken, then I decided I really liked it and made it my URL. (btw Gantz manga is awesome read it)
2. What is your middle name?
Hope. I used to really like it then I went through a stage where I felt hope was just mocking the fact that I had no hopes and what were hopes going to get me but, now, I'm not as depressed, but I still don't know if I like it or not....
3. If you could own a fairytale/fictional pet, what would it be?
Do fictional characters count? But, even then, I'd have a hard time with this because I have studied up on all kinds of mythical creatures and I would like a lot of them. :/ I have no idea.... Maybe a dragon? Or a werecat? Or a vampire? Or a Kaneki Ken? Or a Kotetsu & Barnaby?
4. Favorite color?
Another hard one.... I like red & black the most, but I really like all of the colors because they're so pretty and they all compliment something else nicely.
5. Favorite song?
This is a funny question. I don't really have a "favorite song" because I either really like it or absolutely hate it. But, right now, I've really been enjoying "Ghosts" by Mystery Skulls (plus I really like the AMV).
6. What are your top 3 fandoms?
1) Tokyo Ghoul, 2) Supernatural, 3) Free! (ya i'm trash, deal)
7. Why do you enjoy Tumblr?
It's hilarious and is another way to ditch homework and immerse myself in manga/anime I'm completely obsessed with (like Skip Beat, Tokyo Ghoul, Tiger & Bunny) and because the people are super nice (the ones I know). And I'm an otaku, so I don't have much else to do when I don't feel like reading manga because the last one is still eating me. Besides, it's helped to make me more human than I've ever been (I was pretty selfish and jaded and immune to the feelings of others).
8. Tag 9 of your Tumblr crushes (they have to do all 8 questions, too).
r3aperd, silverwingshadow, malacophonousme, d-kauffman, anime-admiral, constantly-quivering, blushingteddybear, wait-look-at-this-post, bearpwns, jackskeletonthenewsantaclaus; [yeah, I tagged 10 but r3aperd already did one].
my future goal in life is to have candy on me at all times.
math is hard because there's alway only one answer and, while i find that amazing, i almost always find the wrong answer (-_-|||)
if you ever wonder what happened to messages you sent me a while back that i never responded to, i got them late and forgot to answer them then felt it was too late and now i keep them for when i feel bad because they are my treasure.
Hannibal is dinner TV.
I find it really funny and extremely ridiculous when I read/hear some of the things christians are saying. Like how "you will burn in hell if you do not repent your sins" and "all those unlike us will go to hell" and "we are the only ones in God's favor.
Now, I'm a christian and I just want all of you christian-haters to know that I think those people are wrong. I don't think it's wrong to love those of the same gender or to be a boy in a girl's body or vise versa. I don't think it's wrong to love or to believe or be different or fight for rights that you shouldn't even have to fight for. I think that all of this crap about people not being able to get into heaven because God will judge them and that God is a fearsome God who will not forgive or whatever bull crap they're saying is wrong. If you love God and you try to do what you think is the right thing and you don't hurt people on purpose, you'll get into heaven easy peasy and those judgmental christians are going to be really surprised to see us up there.
I'm a fujoshi, yet I believe God is out there. I don't believe he cares that I like to read, especially about people falling in love, despite differences/difficulties they might come across. I'm also not the best person in the world, in fact, I consider myself a pretty bad person.
Think of it this way: if you go by what these Jesus-freaks are saying, no one's getting into heaven. After all, are they not being judgmental and hateful to the people they claim to want to help?
And the ten commandments. If you've heard properly, they are supposed to be the rules of how to get into heaven. They basically boil down to "don't worship any God but me" and "don't steal anything, not life, not truth, not objects". If you think about it, aren't all religions connected? Aren't the muslims believe in God? They call him Allah, but is he not the same God? I think all religions were formed in honor of one God and the people simply viewed him in ways they could easily understand. For example, the Egyptians had many gods and goddesses. To them, God is many beings.
In my opinion, any religion that strives to be good and to help others is not a wrong religion. If some Jesus-freak or whatever decides to yap at you for your beliefs, ask them if they love God and, if so, why do they hate his children so much?
I hope this helps some of you who are having a hard time with hard-core, judgmental believers. [I'm even having a hard time with my family.] Any path you take, you're going to get some friction from someone. After all, while there are Jesus-freaks, there are also christian-haters, etc. There is an opposite to everything and we just have to work through it, but working through things can take some time and we all get frustrated but, as humans, we were made to get through it and help others get through it, too.
We can all just help each other out and things will get easier. There will always be people who will not budge in their opinion, even when it harms others [mentally and/or physically] and we just need to stay away from them and get away from them and, despite what you might feel right now, it's not impossible to do it.
So, don't hate people just because they belong to a certain group of people. After all, you don't know what they believe until you talk to them and, even after you talk to them, you don't know if they'll open their eyes and see what they're doing to people. So, keep an open mind and help as many people as you can to see a little clearer.
Sorry it's so long, I just wanted to let everyone know this. And bible thumpers can easily be dispelled by bible quotes. After all, the bible was used to both accept and dispel slavery. You can even bible-thump back at them asking if they think slavery's okay, too. I hope this helped at least one person. Thank you for your time. :)
