reluctant is the best word to use. yes, sooyeon his reluctant blackout sleeping bag neighbour, reluctant because sooyeon for one, finds oh sehun totally off the market (meaning he wasn’t in her market in the first place, which he still thinks is a mega-sized lie) two, she treats him like a five year old which is even more pathetic and more of a reason for him to stay away from her but-

he’s scared of the dark you see. so scared that at the very chance he latched onto his ‘mother figure’ and wouldn’t dare let her go in the dark. a nightlight was needed if he was to sleep alone in the darkness of the xavier’s compound with comfort. “sleep with me.” is what he said, sexually it was an open invitation and sehun would still pursue her if the chance was given but for the sake of comfort, he wouldn’t let her say otherwise.
you wouldn’t understand, the darkness is scary for someone who relies on physical sight and contact to do anything. even when his ability was a physical enhancement it’s just-- you can’t blame him alright.
the reluctant idea comes back in his head when he hears some panting next to him. then a groan, and it’s not so arousing. then a whimper... is this really happening?
the woman who is supposed to be protecting him from the infinite fears laying in the unknown darkness is having a nightmare. it could give anyone a little anxiety... what a predicament.
