Obviously, just because they’ve all dubbed the school’s little dilemma as ‘The Blackout’, that doesn’t mean its always going to be dark. Because duh, sunlight? Yeah that thing up in the sky that rises every day, that allows you to see and everything else? Luckily it also seems to rid them of the spiders, which prefer the nocturnal hours instead of those most humans run by.
Its during this time, during the day, that Jaehwan finds himself being rather useless. He’s got no one to charm into earning a few hour’s work of warming their sleeping bag, and nobody is really in the mood for listening in on the guitar without a campfire for atmosphere either. He should probably be taking this time to just relax, lay in the sun and laze about, but those old insecurities of his prod at him to be involved.
Which is how he comes to watching someone fiddle around with the fixing for a tent, and failing quite miserably at it. The person is actually having such a difficult time, that he doesn’t even know their gender or identity until the flap of the poorly constructed tent is finally shoved off their body. The canvas they’d been swamped in before now gone, Jaehwan can see that there’s a female student who has come into ownership of the tent, which as it stands now, would be a very valuable commodity. Surprised that no one else has moved in yet (because he’s quite positive that any assistance in setting the tent up would then extend to an invitation to share said shelter), Jaehwan ever the opportunist, takes advantage of the situation and sidles himself right up to it.
“Having trouble?” he asks, quiet laughter in his voice and his gaze. The question is really a silly one to ask, because its quite obvious that trouble is most certainly being had here. He simply can’t resist the chance to tease though, hoping to get some kind of blush or other grouchy little grumble out of such a cute girl.
