worked on witch's hazel today and here is how it went.. spoiler: not good

seriously tho i know im like 6 weeks late already for this chapter but its such a mess because after drifting off of the outline a bit the last 2 chapters i have to get back on track and my outline not really helping me with that obviously and me having not looked at the story for like a month just made everything so incomprehensible for me for a while even tho i theoretically know what needs to happen in this chapter lol

its the price i pay for making really complex and long stories with so many details that might not seem important at first but truly seriously are!! i need to keep track or else im screwed lol no plotholes in my mystery stories no thanks not if i can somehow help it okay

the only thing that helped me work through this was just writing a random scene with tommy not having a good time and a bit of bedrock bros because thats the good shit for me even tho that also wasn't in the outline lmao

My brain still on hanmei: What about Hanzo comforting Mei. What about Mei just letting it all out to Hanzo. Like she can’t stop and cry about everything that has happened. She can’t let it out all of her because she feels it would just hinder her drive to push forward. She would even sometimes drink to forget about it, but eventually it all comes back to her. But when she meets Hanzo, he catches her feelings immediately and gently encourages her to just...let it all out. Instead of Mei holding him in her arms and being supportive, it is his turn to hold her shaking body and tell her that it’s alright.
