In this final installment in the tour of A Happy Home, I show you around our balcony! Yup, I'm so thankful that we have a balcony and here's how it has evolved over the last few months to better suit our needs. For now, it consists mainly of a laundry corner and a kids craft corner, and I'm liking how simple yet cosy it feels. In today's A Happy Home post, we talk about the biggest, brightest stars of our kitchen - the Smeg 50's Retro style appliances including the dreamlike FAB32 refrigerator in my favourite pastel green and the perfectly matching kettle and 2-slice toaster. Here's a preview of the loft bed in the Blue Room before the post goes live this morning! When it comes to lights, I look for practicality, affordability followed by design. Yup, chandeliers are never for me. For our new nest which has a Scandinavian theme, I knew from the start that I wanted track lights in the living room and preferably a Scandinavian styled pendant light in the dining area and it thrilled me when I was given the chance to work with @lightsandco. One of my biggest wishes in moving to the new house is to be able to make more homecooked meals for the family. It's hard, really hard, on some days because the three kids already drain me of my energy and time. Still, you'll be surprised at where determination takes you and so far we've been doing better than I expected in this first month after shifting in.
