The Most Idiotic Traveler in the World.

There’s this idiotic traveler who’s on a journey.
And the “idiot” in the title is because she was always getting tricked.
She’d get tricked by villagers she met.
Each time, they’d swindle her out of money, or clothes, or shoes.
But the traveler was dumb, so when they lied and told her she was saving them, she’d start weeping.
And she’d always tell them, “I wish you happiness.”
Eventually, all her clothes were gone, and embarrassed to be seen naked, she decided to travel in the woods instead.
There, she met the demons of the forest.
They wanted to eat her, so they’d deceive her with clever words.
As always, the traveler was duped, and she’d give them a leg, an arm…
In the end, she was just a head.
She gave the last demon her eyes.
As the demon chomped on her eyes, it said, “Thank you. Here is a gift in return.”
But that was a lie, too.
The “gift” was just a piece of paper with the word “idiot” on it.
The traveler wept, though.
“Thank you so much,” she said.
“This is the first gift I’ve ever received. I’m so very happy. Thank you so much.”
Tears poured out of her empty eye sockets.
And then the traveler was dead.
