I know that the boys had an amazing time in South America and nothing makes me happier since I am from Argentina. But I also noticed that even if the fans are passionate some of them were really invasive and were at the hotel 24/7. I had the chance to see the boys after the sideshow but some people who have already met them were all over them and the situation made me really anxious. Sorry about my english. i saw that!! it’s really a shame that fans were being so invasive :/ there were pics that i saw of van looking really annoyed about fans at their hotel, but i guess it’s because they don’t come to south america often and those fans just wanted their chance to meet them? i’m so sorry you had to be exposed to that nonsense, though, it’s really shitty when overzealous “fans” ruin the experience for everybody else. but i’m so glad they finally made it down there nonetheless, you guys deserve more shows!!!! there’s always so much support coming from south america, i never understand why bands don’t tour there more!
i say it time and time again, in every fandom i’ve ever been a part of, PLEASE DON’T SHOW UP AT AIRPORTS AND HOTELS LOOKING FOR BAND MEMBERS, it’s shitty as hell. they work all the time, and especially when it comes to hotels, that’s their home away from home where they go to chill out/wind down/rest/find some time to themselves and just generally have some privacy and no one should be disturbing them there. its super disrespectful and entitled. they don’t HAVE to meet fans, that is not part of their job. they choose to meet fans because they’re good guys and genuinely care about the people who support them and got them to where they are. i really wish people wouldn’t ruin or dampen that for them by invading their privacy in the one place they have to just relax for a bit.
