:: Yeah, no.  Redone scenes from T2 aren't going to save you. CG Arnold won't. Putting a "Y" in your name doesn't redeem it. And completely rewriting the timeline in order to keep the story doesn't justify coming out with ANOTHER one of these.  This is T1, but without any of the horror aspects that were originally written for it. It's now just another dumbed down post apocalyptic action blockbuster, as opposed to the thoughtful-horror-thriller it was intended to be with the first two films. And Kyle is just another meathead, why?! His characters whole dynamic was that he wasn't the best soldier, just had a strong heart. I see what they're doing-  getting away from #5's gritty realism by jumping into time-warping scifi, but it's a step in the wrong direction. They already tried this with the show, and that flopped.  The Terminator WERE good because they scared us, made us feel unsafe. Now it's just shiny things and explosions to throw our money at.
