Now that squads have been announced, we can look more closely into the hotness of the individual teams. I mean, that’s what we’re here for, right? For each team, I’ll talk a bit about the squad, then highlight ten hotties (trying to be attentive to many types of hotness), doing my best to split them evenly amongst the field.
Egypt have an exciting counter-attacking side with a strong defense to match, they just have to get careful not to get stuck in against a team that decides to sit deep and defend. Many expect them to pip the hosts Russia to second place in group qualifying. Why? They have one of the most exciting players in the world in Mo Salah. A shoulder injury in the Champions League final might have ruled him out, but it looks like he’ll be good to play.

Talk about hair envy. And that middle pic is making my mind go to interesting places.
Ahmed Fathi, #7 (home club: Al Ahly)
I prefer the bearded rough guy look, but as you can see above, Fathy can also rock the clean-shaven Disney Prince aesthetic.
Ayman Ashraf, #12 (home club: Al Ahly)
Few men can so casually pull off a double breasted suit. And those THIGHS.
Mahmoud Hamdy El Wensh, #15 (home club: Zamalek)
Omar Gaber, #4 (home club: Los Angeles FC)

This dude’s got swagger. I’m not gonna argue with him.
Mohamed Salah, #10 (home club: Liverpool)
Salah isn’t your usual heart-throb, but talent is sexy. Confidence is sexy. An easy smile that twinkles in your eye, and a personality to match? Screw “usual,” Mo Salah’s the Egyptian King!
Mahmoud Kahraba, #11 (home club: Al Ittihad Jeddah)
This guy looks like he’d be so much fun to party with. And you’ll need to after he scores a bucket full of goals!
Damn, Egypt. An impressive display.
