Ahomgender

We did not coin ahomgender, we only created the flag. Ahomgender, the term, was coined by @xeno-aligned.

This is a repost of our own coined term that was initially on our main blog, @anendoandfriendo.

We don't mean anything with these colors, but they're often the ones used for a- mogai stuff, so we thought it could be cool to stick with that. We also just thought that cross thing made a good visual of being separated from concepts if paired with the green and white. But for the most part there isn't anything deep here, it just looks cool.

Do you know of any nonhuman genders (for systemmates specifically)?

this isn’t a complete list, but what i’ve got so far:

Ferusgender / Beastiaque: A feral, rapidly shifting gender that feels more animalistically dangerous than human-like, and is heavily associated with/influenced by anger and animalistic urges. For use by nonhuman system members/otherkin. Pronounced fair-us-gender / beast-ee-ac.

Aniexe: An nonhuman headmate whose closest human gender is agender / gendernull. Pronounced annie-ex.

Anief: An nonhuman headmate whose closest human gender is female. Pronounced annie-eef.

Aniem: An nonhuman headmate whose closest human gender is male. Pronounced annie-em.

Anieu: An nonhuman headmate whose closest human gender is nonbinary / androgyne / genderqueer. Pronounced annie-oo.

Ahomgender: Detachment from gender due to being nonhuman. Due to the nature of the identity, cannot be used as ahomboy, ahomnonbinary, etc.

the nonhuman genders in this post (no definitions are given, but i’m assuming they work similarly to aniexe/anief/aniem/anieu - a nonhuman being whose gender can be best described as ___)

Ahomoriented & Ahomgender:

Detachment from gender and/or attraction due to being nonhuman. Used as ahomromantic, ahomalterous, etc. if you feel like you are detached from a specific type of attraction. Due to the nature of the identity, cannot be used as ahomboy, ahomnonbinary, etc.

Ahomidentity / Ahomidentification:

Detachment from the concept of self and identity due to being nonhuman in some way. Can be used as “I am ahomidentified.”

From a-, meaning not/without, & homo-, meaning human; lit. not human.

These may be separate (e.g. someone is adhomgender but not ahomsexual or ahomidentified), or your ahomidentity may cause your ahomgender/orientation, or your ahomidentity might not be the cause but you are still ahomidentified and ahomgender/oriented. May also tie into voidpunk.

Who can use ahomidentity/ahomgender/ahomoriented?

Anyone who is nonhuman, believes they are, or centres their identity around nonhumanity! Examples are:

someone who is in a system and is a fictive of a nonhuman character;

someone who is in a system and is a nonhuman being (e.g. an animal, a robot, etc.);

someone who is otherkin / a therian / nonhuman-identified Homo sapien;

someone who experiences delusions that they’re nonhuman (whether they know it’s a delusion or not);

someone who identifies as nonhuman due to neurodivergency (which ties into the next example)

someone who is voidpunk.
