Went back home again this week so I could play HSR since I don't have a strong enough connection where I'm renting, and I tried the new Divergent universe (I need to grind bc I plan on getting Phainon), and THIS is the first thing I see after submitting 50 branches of rites to the Titan Odes post script??? Wild I still hope that we get a canon (voiced) snz in-game though from one of the characters for you know... story purposes (I know T/railbalzer snz-ed in one of the events but that doesn't count lmao)

Aventurine

✦ Not gonna lie... but the feathers in his earring gives me so many ideas. Because of that, I headcanon him as someone who's allergic to feathers.

✦ Flowers too. He despises getting flowers as gifts since they make him sneeze himself dizzy.

✦ He's mildly allergic to some scents. There have been occasions where he tries to show off his status and wealth by buying a very expensive perfume, only to regret it later because it's bothering his nose.

✦ When sick, he's very stubborn at admitting it, sometimes even requiring the other party to "prove" that he's sick before he finally admits it.

✦ One prompt I wrote with him in mind is "Aventurine being captured by someone who wants information out of him. That person doesn't know what to do to get Aventurine to talk, but then... he notices the feathers on his earring and uses it against him."

✦ Another prompt I made was "Aventurine hiding illness, and the person he's meeting getting fed up with it, so that person makes a bet with Aventurine. If he sneezes even once during the meeting, Aventurine will have to admit he's sick."

(This was actually a prompt I used in one of @rachwavs' [sorry for the tag] streams)

Sunday

✦ Honestly... feather allergy too. It's even funnier considering that he has head wings too.

✦ I'd definitely agree that he would use his head wings to cover his nose when he sneezes when his hands are busy. It has made him sneeze a couple more times, though...

✦ He tends to overwork himself and gets sick as a result. Though he tries to push through his illness, given his status... a little part of him feels happy when someone points it out and tells him to go back home and rest until he's better. He just wants a break fr 😭

✦ A bit of a control freak, so he definitely stifles/hides his sneezes when making a public appearance.

✦ Anyways, a prompt I had for him is "Sunday stressed out with planning and organizing the Charmony festival and doing his best to ensure it goes without a hitch. Unfortunately, the florist assigned to take care of the flower arrangements ran out of stock of the flower that was supposed to be used. In a haste, Sunday tells the florist "any replacement will do" which ends up to be a mistake since when he does the final checking before the festival, the flowers chosen are ones he's allergic to"

✦ Alternatively, Sunday working himself to the ground due to the preparations needed by the Charmony festival and when the day comes to enjoy the fruit of his labor, he can't... since he ended up sick on the day of it.

My favourite characters are Jing Yuan, Fu Xuan, Natasha, Yukong, and Welt, so here are some sick/snz headcanons of them! I have some snz HCs abt the rest of the Astral Express crew, but they're not too polished and I'm not so sure anyone would be interested in that, soo,, 😗

Welt

✦ Throaty-ish sneeze that sounds harsh.

✦ When he's talking to someone and he has to sneeze, it can obviously be seen on his face.

✦ He doesn't really hold back, but when he's talking to people and he has to sneeze, he usually holds a finger up before turning to the side.

✦ Sneezes into the crook of his arm.

✦ Very good at hiding sickness. Seriously, he's never sick until he's caught.

✦ Not very sneezy, but some feathers would get him going.

✦ Mid dust allergy

✦ Okay… so I said before that I'm not that into pet/fur allergies… but the thought of March 7th sneaking a stray cat on the express and Welt being confused on why he's suddenly sneezing so much, is… doing things???

Natasha

✦ Her story quest… where she was travelling through the snow plains with the trailblazer, made me think a lot.

✦ Yeah… she probably caught a cold after that.

✦ Sensitive to the cold

✦ Sneezes in threes, each sounding more desperate than the last

✦ Somewhat high pitched and breathy (I'm so not good at snz sounds)

✦ A serial blesser

✦ A little embarrassed about getting sick. (Her line, "…but I'm a doctor!" 😭)

✦ Would love to take a day off when sick, but too much people in the underworld need her help, so the best thing she can do is wear a mask and sneeze away from people.

Jing Yuan

✦ LMAO, the birds living in his hair… or his hair itself has made him sneeze a couple of times.

✦ His sneezes are about a 7/10 in volume.

✦ Sneezes bend him over the waist.

✦ Doesn't get sick a whole bunch, but after that fight with Phantylia… he was immuno-compromised for a little while.

✦ Hehe… since he has a hologram, it flickers when he sneezes.

✦ When he gets sick, he milks the heck out of it, stating that he can't do things because of his ailment… even though it isn't too bad.

Fu Xuan

✦ Seasonal allergies.

✦ 😭 Has probably divined her own future and tried to prevent getting sick/avoid having a sneezing fit… but it never works out for her. It always happens… no matter how much she tries to stop it.

✦ Gets sniffly after the 3rd sneeze in a row.

✦ Soft, high pitched sneezes.

✦ Stifles by pinching her nose shut.

✦ Covers by cupping two hands over her mouth and nose.

✦ So, so bad at hiding illness/allergies because her nose gets really red.

✦ Hologram also flickers when she sneezes.

✦ Trying to hold back never does her any justice because she just turns into an absolute mess with long drawn build-ups and fits that leave her breathless and regretting her choices.

Yukong

✦ Rough and harsh sounding sneezes.

✦ Not really embarrassed about her sneezes, but she doesn't like sneezing in front of people.

✦ Sensitive nose bc… foxian

✦ So stubborn when sick and tries to push through it… but if she really can't, she'll take a sick day

✦ Spice sensitivity.

✦ Long, torturous build-ups sometimes… like, she has confined herself to an isolated room multiple times because she had to sneeze but it wouldn't come out.

✦ Keeps her desk clean because she also has a dust allergy.

✦ Very polite about sneezing(tries to at least stifle) in front of others because of her current position… but when alone, she just lets it all out because of her fighter spirit.

The aeons I like are Lan and Yaoshi… so they get to sneeze too

Lan

✦ Lol, destruction and abundance lotus allergy.

✦ Has a harsh and messy sounding sneeze that bends them over the waist.

✦ Has a pollen allergy, which exacerbates their dislike towards Yaoshi even more.

✦ Has probably sneezed while they had their mask on and hissed out "repulsive...." afterwards.

✦ Earth shaking sneezes.

Yaoshi

✦ I thought it would be funny if Yaoshi, too had a pollen allergy... but it's milder than Lan's and only sets them off if its certain plants/if there's too much of it/if they were around it for too long.

✦ Whispery/Hushed sounding sneezes... but can still be heard.

✦ Has probably used their veil to wipe or blow their nose.

✦ Flowers sprout up when they sneeze.

✦ Despite being considered "annoying" they actually tend to withdraw and hide away when feeling ill.

Blade

✦ His sneezes, I think would probably sound harsh and sharp and he snaps forwards whenever he sneezes. Whether he covers or not is a 50-50. Sometimes he would, but sometimes I think he'd forget. ✦ Honestly... I see him as someone with a pollen allergy. No specific lore-related reason or connection, I just enjoy opposites. ✦ Rain too, if he was stuck in it for long, then he'd probably let out some sneezes. ✦ And lastly... his hair. I feel like it would get in the way whenever he practices with his sword and it HAS made him sneeze on multiple occasions.

✦ That's all for things that would make him snz. In all honesty, I don't think he would sneeze too much, he rarely does and it comes as a surprise to the Stellaron hunters like "Wow, you can (actually) sneeze?" and he'd just grunt and brush it off.

✦ However, when it comes to colds, I feel like he would be susceptible to them and catch them easily and quite often. ✦ That being said, a prompt I have for him is "Blade taking things too far when he's ill, stubbornly insisting to practicing his sword fighting in the rain and waking up hours later on the Stellaron Hunters' hideout couch since he passed out and Kafka brought him back inside. ✦ Another prompt would be Blade getting injured and someone treating his wounds. However, the healing salve's scent is way to strong (or made out of something he's allergic to) and he has to hold back and keep himself still since jerking around is not helping.
