I know no one is going to read this, but I’m desperate enough to try. One of my kittens got rushed to the emergency vet today and was ultimately diagnosed with panleukopenia, the cat version of parvo. I’ve applied for and maxed out all the credit lines I have to pay for his treatment on the chance, even though it’s small, that he may pull through. I couldn’t just end his life like that. He’s only 4 months old. Please, if anyone can donate to help pay for his vet bill, it would be beyond appreciated. They’re quoting 6000 total atm, and I’m able to pay 4k myself. It’s the 2000 difference we’re struggling to find after I was just out of work for a month for my own surgery.

I never thought I would ever have to do this. I know it probably won’t get traction. But I had to try for my baby. Please. Any kind of help is appreciated. If you’re willing, I can message my Venmo

a thing that really grinds my gears (and is a huge portion of the reason i was terrified to ever come out about having a fetish) is that ppl are so.  reductionist about it.  intentionally or unintentionally.  like the instant you get labeled as "the [x] fetish person" nobody ever remembers you any other way.  it feels like people forget that you're a whole entire complex human person too.  this is intensified by the way people separate out their fetish accounts to both keep them secret or keep the content filterable, whatever reason, but it means that often they have a main account displaying their diverse interests, and then a fetish account where. yeah. if you look at that, it looks like all they ARE is the fetish.  and i've been terrified of getting made small like that my whole adult life.

the artist has obviously done a huge amount of research to get all the things right that the op has clocked and enjoyed in the drawing.  and yet. once it's revealed to be fetish art. all of those things are tossed aside like they don't matter.  but no!  the artist has a fetish AND they are interested in a lot of historical things and anatomical accuracy!  but the framing of that post literally reduces. all of that. to "fetish art." even though it was introduced with all this value.  but no even though you've acknowledged the artistic value, in the post, you're throwing all of that away immediately for a gag about "it's fetish art."  (yes because the point op is making is clarified in the reblog but the tone. is casually there in the original, and picked up on in thousands of reblogs. the attitude is pervasive.)  i'm just.  i could cry thinking about that happening to me.

has gone in the opposite direction. framing like the only people doing this complex historical research are ppl writing for plotty things and not the horny fanfiction intended to get ppl off.  do you know how much research i've done to get details right in the fetish fic and art. because i'm a human being with multiple and complex interests that i'm expressing at the same time. god. no wonder i have a complex.  this is the way ppl talk about and dismiss this stuff casually without even thinking about it.
