Green AI Movement
For all the advances empowered by artificial intelligence, from speech recognition to self-driving vehicles, AI frameworks devour a lot of power and can create high volumes of atmosphere changing carbon outflows.
But, there are approaches to make ML cleaner and greener, a movement that has been classified "Green AI". Some algorithms are less force hungry than others, for instance, and many instructional sessions can be moved to remote areas that get the vast majority of their power from sustainable sources.
The key, however, is for AI engineers and organizations to know how much their machine learning tests are regurgitating and how much those volumes could be diminished.
