I love your writing, so could I ask for a Chishiya imagine where he meet reader in the borderland, and when he wakes up in the hospital he meet reader again and they both remember everything? In a romantic way please! Have a good day love you bye!
you and me found love / lost under the shade
(gn reader / comfort / 927 words) after the meteor hits tokyo, chishiya has an unlikely reunion in a hospital cafeteria
you rub elbows with a lot of people everyday. CHISHIYA SHUNTARO knew this better than most. he had learned to keep his head down; he never spoke of his personal life, only offering snarky comments as they came to mind. he threw himself into his studies, desperate to meet the expectations of a drunken father. it had worked - mostly.
the world had gone dark in the blink of an eye. chishiya had been walking home just after getting off a shift at work. the hospital, as dreary and depressing as it was, felt like home after a while. he had traded the traditional white coat for a thinner cardigan, wandering across the shibuya crosswalk as he made his way home.
then it happened.
in the blink of an eye, everything went dark. the ground shifted beneath chishiya’s feet, trembling beneath its own weight. buildings swayed. people screamed. the sky lit up in a fiery, golden glow. and chishiya stood on the street, right in the middle of it.
chishiya glances up when a hand gently knocks against the glass doors. his curtains had remained drawn since they had transferred him into this room, but he knew who it was. he never received any visitors, anyways.
“how are you feeling today?” the nurse - arakawa - asks with a sweet smile. her long, black hair has been pulled back into a tight bun, bangs tucked behind her ears. she takes a few steps into the room, reaching to grab his chart from the foot of his bed. “did you sleep okay?”
“fine,” chishiya murmurs. he shifts slightly, pushing himself up onto his elbows. arakawa glances up at the movement but doesn’t say anything when he tosses his leg over the side.
“that’s good,” she hums. she reaches up, pushing her thin, purple glasses further up along the slope of her nose. she peers at him from over the top of the glasses, flashing chishiya another smile. “your vitals look good today.”
he simply nods in response. arakawa slides the binder back into its cubby before stepping to the side, watching as chishiya hesitantly stands. the hospital-provided slides were only slightly larger than his feet. his balance had remained unsteady but the ache in his hip had reduced from a stinging pain to a dull ache.
“thank you,” chishiya says, offering arakawa a curt nod. he wraps his hand around his iv pump, careful not to lean too much of his weight against the device. its incessant beeping haunts him as he drags it alongside him, slowly making his way towards the doors.
she bows slightly, leaving the doors slightly ajar when she takes her leave. “i’ll see you later, chishiya-san.”
despite his circumstances, the hospital had proven to be a comfort. here, he didn’t have to worry about going home to a cold, empty apartment. people checked in on him frequently, even if nobody called. the sterile smell reminded him of a simpler time - one where he was still a bright-eyed med-student observing his first ever volunteer shifts.
the cafeteria was the loudest part of the hospital. it bustled with more people than usual. patients sat at the tables with their families, telling jokes over their bland meals. occasionally, doctors wandered past, stealing a bottle of water or a snack from the nearby vending machines. but to chishiya, it was nothing more than an excuse to get out of bed and eat his lunch. it was supposed to be routine. today, however, was different.
chishiya’s eyes scan across the tables, searching for the one closest to the exit. sitting near the edge made it easier to slip away once he finished his meal. he briefly considers the empty table nearest to the line. but then, he freezes.
chills creep up chishiya’s spine. his breath catches in his throat. unease settles deep into his stomach. deja vu, maybe? he’s not sure. all he knows, is that he sees you. and you see him, too.
time seems to stop in its tracks. for just a few moments, the bustle of the hospital stops around you. chishiya stares at you with wide, unblinking eyes, trained on your gaze. you mirror his expression. your lips are just barely parted, chopsticks balancing in your hold.
chishiya moves first. he crosses the cafeteria in a daze, only stopping once he reaches the seat across from you at your table. he blinks, awkwardly shifting his weight between his feet. for once in his life, he doesn’t know what to say.
“chishiya?” his name is little more than a breathless whisper when it leaves your lips. tears brim at the edges of your wide eyes, still staring up at him. he sets the tray down on your table before shuffling closer. his iv monitor drags on the tiles behind him. “you… you’re here?”
“i’m here,” he nods. you’re scrambling to your feet, now, pushing everything aside to get to him as soon as possible. chishiya stiffens when you wrap your arms around him. the feeling is foreign. butterflies swarm throughout his stomach and his heartbeat feels like it’s beating out of his chest.
you bury your head into the crook of his neck and shoulder, keeping your bodies pressed impossibly close. chishiya hesitates for only a moment before he’s following your lead, wrapping his arms around your waist and leaning his weight against you as well. “i’m here,” he repeats, whispered into your ear. his lips ghost against your temple for only a moment. you tighten your grip in response, letting out a shaky breath. “it’s okay now.”

[REQUESTED]
["I always feel like, somebody's watching me."]
Unsettled.
They didn't know why they felt that way almost all the time, but it sent goose bumps up their skin- the hair on their skin standing. No matter where they went, they felt as if there was somebody staring at them, but every time they whipped their head around as if to catch the culprit, there was no one there.
Once, they got home to see their living room lights open and their eyebrows knit together in confusion. They knew for sure they switched all the lights off before they left. They went to the kitchen, seeing their honey scented lip balm lying on the floor.
"Strange, i thought I lost this."
<><><>
The unsettling feeling left for a while since they joined the games, but yet again they felt as if it was back.
"You seem nervous"
Chishiya's voice brought them back to their senses. They were walking into a prison for a Jack of Hearts game, and they just realized they were zoned out while walking.
"I'm not nervous"
"Your nibbling your bottom lip, and your eyes are unmoving and staring at nothing as we walk. You're toying with the hem of your shirt and you keep exhaling deeply every few seconds. You're usually only this ay when you're nervous. So tell me what's wrong"
Screw Cheese Boy and his attentiveness.
Fortunately Chishiya left them alone as they got into the room and put a collar on, Y/N copying his movements.
They felt unnerved again, but this time felt stronger than before. They glanced around the room until they noticed one of the people already staring.
A male with kempt hair and a slightly wrinkled light navy polo with a few buttons undone revealing a white shirt stared at them intently. They noticed how much he reminded them of Chishiya- the slightly raised eyebrows and a smirk on his features. Yet his smirk felt different.
It's as if he recognized you, and his smirk only displayed how pleased he was to be in the same room as you.
Unsettling.

"Y/N"
They were picking out snacks when they heard their name called. Thinking it was Chishiya they turned around, only to be surprised seeing it was the same male from earlier.
Since when did they introduce themselves?
"How.. how the heck do you know my name?" Y/N retaliated, and the male took a few steps forward, causing Y/N to step back. They felt the shelves behind them, and before they could move the male had placed his hands on either side of their head so they couldn't escape. His hand drifting down their side before reaching Y/N's pockets, pulling out the honey scented lip balm.
"You know, I missed this. I shouldn't have left it behind when you almost caught me in our house." He chuckled. Y/N's eyes widened.
"Since when did you have keys to my house?!"
"Not my fault you keep it on the fire extinguisher case next to your door, princess. It was so easy to see, like you were practically begging me to come inside your home."
Y/N felt as if there were bugs crawling on her skin. The male only laughed in triumph, opening the lip balm and putting some on Y/N's lips before his own, then storing it back in their bag.
So he was the guy watching them. He probably knew everything about them now, since Y/N already felt this way a few months before the games.
"You creep!" Y/N hissed, pushing him in the chest so he backs away.
He glances Y/N up and down before shaking his head in amusement, turning to leave.
"My name's Banda Sunato, darling" he winked, before disappearing down the corridor.
Guess this game is going to be pretty eventful.
Author's note: Hello requester-san! I hope you liked this. I love Banda sm but idk how to write him :') Sorry if this didn't come out the way you wanted it to! Idk if u wanted this to be romantic/platonic so I improvised instead. Anw, have a great rest of your day everyone! <3
Ask and you shall receive. This was super cute to write, hope you enjoy it even tho is just a lil drabble <3
Aguni sometimes wondered when was the exact moment he fell in love with you. There were too many moments to count, too many memories that made his heart beat faster and his hands twitch with the need to hold you close.
Like right now, seeing you laugh as you played with your baby son, the light of the window behind you basking you in the morning light... It only made him love you more, if that was even possible.
He knew he shouldn't idolize you, but sometimes it was hard for him to believe that you were anything less than a goddess in his eyes.
"Good morning" he announced himself before he started getting emotional. It tended to happen after the nightmares.
"Oh, good morning, daddy!" You answered in a sing-song voice as you gently waved your son's chubby arm in his direction.
He couldn't control the smile that stretched his lips as the baby smiled at him, taking the boy from your arms before leaning over to kiss you.
"Sorry, did we wake you?" You asked with a sheepish smile.
He shook his head no, pressing his forehead to yours before closing his eyes and taking a deep sigh of contentment, not minding the way his baby bumped his little fist against his chest.
"Bad dream?" You whispered, soothingly rubbing your thumb against his cheek.
He nodded, and you hugged him tight in response. His nightmares were filled with death, violence, and loss, but his family always kept the dark clouds in his mind at bay.
If I’m not bothering you, you wrote to Chishiya "his types of kiss", do you think you could write a "his kind of demonstrating that he cares through gestures" (gn reader)? Thank you so much 🩷

notes: wasn't sure how i wanted to write this so it isn't super romance focused (chishiya's love languages is similar but more romantic), haven't written for aib in a while so sorry if the game doesn't really make sense lol, thank you so much for the request !! i hope you like it <33, not proofread !! pls forgive any mistakes, title from bae173 - annoyed
the air feels sticky against your skin; the night breeze does little to combat against the humid summer air. beside you, aguni crosses his arms across his chest. he lets out an impatient sigh as he leans his head against a white pillar. your eyes scan around the group. your competition.
a businessman nervously fidgets with the cuffs of his suit. beside him, two women stand side by side, clinging onto each other. they whisper softly to each other even though you’re too far away to hear any of their words.
CHISHIYA SHUNTARO nods his head along to a rhythm you can’t hear. his hood has been pulled up over his head, leaving only a few stray strands of blonde hair visible beneath the night sky. when chishiya glances upwards, his gaze meets your own. he smirks softly behind his jacket hood for a few seconds before returning to silently analyzing the other players.
the chime of the announcement system comes as a welcome change. a familiar automated voice plays over speakers you can’t see. “game: tag.”
at first, the minutes tick by without any events. you keep your footsteps quiet as you slip through the stairwell. aguni walks with confidence but you don’t miss the way he subtly sticks closer to the shadows lining the walls. you take the opportunity to slip away, walking through the eerily empty apartment’s halls.
chishiya is already standing near the roof when you arrive. without the jacket’s hood protecting his face, the wind blows stray strands of blonde hair across his face. he leans against the white half-wall, watching the other players wander around from above.
“anything interesting?” you ask, stepping closer to stand beside him. the bricks feel cool against your hands. a thick layer of paint has smoothed out any texture they used to have.
chishiya simply hums. “nothing yet.” he shifts slightly, brushing his shoulder against your own. it’s an otherwise unnoticeable gesture, but it makes your heart skip a beat nonetheless. “does aguni know you’re here?”
you shrug. as the beach grew, it became harder to keep track of each member individually. the games only added to your anonymity, making it easy to slip away from the crowd under the guise of ‘being afraid for your life.’ “does it matter?”
he remains silent. your lives depended on your social skills just as much as your physicality. the beach had only become another challenge, demanding careful navigation and care to survive. aguni was smart enough to survive. he wasn’t vengeful like niragi or observant like ann. he wouldn’t pose any real risk. at least, not while hatter was still in charge.
chishiya glances at you. he shuffles ever so closer, resting his hand just beside your own. the heat from his knuckles is a welcome change from the otherwise cool night air. after a few seconds his hand dips lower, fingers now tugging at the edge of your beach-issued bracelet. chishiya’s fingers run along the braided thread holding it together.
you flinch slightly when yet another round of gunshots echo throughout the apartment. they’re much closer now; you can hear the click of another round being loaded into the chamber. chishiya reaches over, tentatively taking your hand into his own. his thumb runs along the grooves of your knuckles. he doesn’t say anything. he doesn’t need to. the gentle circles he rubs against the back of your hand say more than words ever could. don’t worry. we’ll be home soon.

pairing: arisu ryohei x gn!reader (no pronouns used) genre: hurt comfort word count: 801
notes: cw panic attack (thankfully) haven't had a panic attack in a while so apologies if the depiction is inaccurate, not super romance centric but it's there, arisu is thinking of karube if that wasn't clear, wish they had talked about his grief more :// he really went through so much, not proofread !! pls forgive any mistakes, title from &TEAM - aoarashi
summer announces its arrival with rising temperatures and uncomfortably sticky air. the overwhelming heat is only made worse by the beach’s many partygoers. they rub elbows with those around them randomly, dancing along to whatever bass boosted song filters through the air or drinking whatever is being handed out at the bar.
ARISU RYOHEI anxiously circles the edges of the party, searching for a somewhat quiet place to sit. the crowd becomes a blur as he wanders.
slowly, he finds his way towards the center, finding a seat on a nearby pool chair. the edges are tattered and frayed; the previous off white colouring has been stained a shade of pale yellow after months of continuous use. it sags beneath arisu’s weight but remains steady after a moment. he takes a deep breath. the weight pressing down on his chest feels extra heavy tonight. his head spins.
arisu’s eyes scan throughout the crowd. usagi tugs at the sleeves of an orange jacket. another woman - kuina, if he’s remembering it right - sits beside her on their own beach chair. kuina rolls a faux cigarette between her fingers as they talk.
his eyes catch on a group of men next. they’re fully clothed - a sight that almost shocks arisu for a moment. one man sneers at him through the crowd. he’s carrying a rifle on his back. or maybe it’s a machine gun. arisu can’t quite tell.
he’s quick to avert his gaze, searching through the crowd for anything else. anyone else to keep his attention away from the danger he’s somehow found himself in. and then there’s a nearby flash of orange. or maybe yellow? it’s too dark. too crowded. his heart skips a beat.
a sinking feeling settles into his chest. bile rises in his throat, but he’s quick to swallow it down. arisu’s fingers curl into fists. his nails dig into his palms. he scrambles to his feet, pushing his way through the crowd until he’s back inside of the hotel once again.
arisu races through the halls until his lungs begin to burn. he runs until he can’t breathe; he runs until he reaches the end of the hallway at least twice. arisu’s heart races in his chest as he struggles to force a nearby door open, wandering into the darkness.
every hotel room looks identical to the last. the locks have all been disabled - both an assurance by hatter that everyone is welcome and a way for the martial sect to keep tabs on everyone.
arisu’s breath catches in his throat. he all but throws himself onto the edge of the bed, curling into himself. his hands tremble as he buries his head into them. arisu runs his hands through his shaggy hair, pushing the strands away from his teary eyes in the process.
“arisu?” he can feel your touch before he sees you. you hesitantly rest a hand on his bare leg, just above his knee. your skin feels cool against his overly warm skin. “hey, arisu.” your voice is louder now. you furrow your eyebrows, rising up a little from your crouched position below him.
arisu chokes. his chest burns. he isn’t sure any of the air he’s desperately trying to breathe in is reaching his lungs.
“arisu.” your hands are on his face now, cradling his cheeks between your hands. your thumb swipes away a tear he hadn’t realized had fallen. his unfocused gaze barely meets your own. “just look at me, okay? take a deep breath.”
arisu squeezes his eyes shut. he wills himself to listen to the sound of your voice, doing his best to follow your instructions. deep breath in. pause. deep breath out. repeat.
time seems to slow. for a moment, everything moves in slow motion. all of arisu’s senses feel heightened. he can feel his racing heartbeat in his chest. the tears stinging at his eyes. the lingering pain from how harshly he dug his nails into the palms of his hands. and you.
your hands wrapping around his shoulders, tugging him into a hug. your hand rubbing against his back as he slowly begins to calm down. your voice whispering sweet nothings in his ear. you.
“it’s okay,” you murmur. “i’m here. it’s okay.”
and for once, arisu believes you.
he allows himself to collapse against your chest, throwing his own arms around your waist. he buries his face into the crook of your neck. sobs rack through his body. “thank you,” he mumbles. arisu’s eyes flutter shut as you continue to brush your hand through his hair, gently smoothing out any tangles and scratching your nails against his scalp. you remain silent, leaning down to press a gentle kiss against the crown of his head. arisu leans into the feeling. his grip around your waist tightens. “thank you.”
in 2022 i just want any aib character to tell me im pretty lol. happy new year, babe
Omg I completely forgot I still had new year's drabbles in my drafts 😭😭😭 I'm so sorry baby, hope your year has been great 💖
He keeps looking at you weird. You feel like there's something on your face, and his constant staring is bordering on creepy by now. It doesn't matter where you go around the Beach, he just. Keeps. Following you.
So you do the sensible thing and keep yourself in your room, glad that at least in there you're not under the scrutiny of the scary-looking militant with the katana. It's not like he actually gave you a reason to fear him, but his appearance together with his intense gaze is enough to make your heart beat faster and your palms sweat from anxiety.
But you can't avoid him now that you're part of the same group for the games.
You do keep your distance from the rest of the group as you walk towards the game arena, keeping yourself a few meters back as everyone else discusses what the new game might be about.
Unfortunately, you soon realize he's also a fan of walking behind groups.
You keep your eyes forward as you walk side by side, trying not to get more nervous than you already are by telling yourself that this is just a coincidence, nothing else.
Not that his eyes on you help either way.
"Pretty..."
You hear it clear enough to make you do a double take before you feel yourself blush and act like he hadn't said a thing. But then you hear it again, more clear this time and together with your name.
"H-How do you know my name?" you hesitantly ask, trying not to panic at the possible reason why. Have you done something to be the target of the militants' cruelty? You hope not.
The man shrugs in response but his eyes stay on you. He doesn't look particularly threatening right now, but that means nothing in the Borderlands. You choose to move your eyes forward and keep walking, but then he speaks again, and you're not sure you heard it right.
"You're really pretty."
"Me?!"
The tone in your voice is unmistakably surprised, like what he said couldn't possibly apply to you. 'Pretty' was never a word you used when describing yourself, and hearing it from the mouth of a man as Last Boss made your cheeks heat up like a furnace.
"Yes," he nods, "you're really pretty." Then he hesitates before asking, "Why are you always alone?"
"Feel safer this way," you shrug, choosing to be honest while still processing his words. He really thinks you're pretty?
"I like being alone too."
You say nothing to that, surprised that the most silent of the militants keeps talking; is he trying to make small talk? With you, of all people? Today is being quite the day.
You walk together to the game arena, keeping yourself apart from the rest of the group as you take a phone and wait for the game to start.
A new type of anxiety starts brewing in the pit of your stomach; is this the night you die? You were able to stay alive until now, so you can only hope that it stays that way.
A light touch on your shoulder reminds you of the specter-like man still behind you, and you turn to look at him.
"You can stay with me if you want."
He says it like it's no big deal, like he was just offering you a piece of his sandwich. Like you accepting his offer won't actually save your life.
"I would like that," you give him a smile, surprised to see him smile back.
You can't help but think that, for a man that look and acts like him, he's actually surprisingly cute.
The familiar sound of the game starting echoes in the arena, and you instinctively get closer to him.
"Stay behind me," he says as you see him unsheathe his katana.
Okay I know this is going to sound weird but what if.... Just because, a little drabble of Niragi and Last Boss playing Jenga. A simple one, that's all. :D
My dear Ace, only you to send me the most random requests 😂💓 love it, they're always a challenge.
"You son of a bitch!"
Niragi raised a brow at hearing Last Boss's outburst. He had never heard the man raise his tone more than a loud whisper, so hearing him actually curse out loud almost made him forget how satisfied he was by winning yet another round of Jenga.
"You suck at this game, dude," Niragi said as Last Boss caught the wooden pieces that had fallen to the floor.
The man huffed but didn't say a word as they restarted the game, shakingly working their way up a wooden tower.
Niragi was starting to pay more attention to his opponent than the actual game. It was amusing how serious and focused on the game Last Boss was, tip of the tongue sticking out of his mouth in concentration before the inevitable happened.
"Fuck, you're really bad at this," Niragi laughed.
"You were shaking the table!"
"I was not!" Not this time at least.
"You were!"
"What in the hell are you two doing?"
The voice made them stop and look at the entrance of the room, where a very tired-looking Aguni stared at them like he didn't actually care but it was his duty to ask.
"Playing Jenga," they said at the same time.
"Wanna join?" Niragi invited, hoping that the man would make the game a little more challenging.
Big hope on his part. The tower was falling as soon as the man tried to play.
"...Am I the only one around here that knows how to play--"
Dark angry and unforgiving Chishiya ❗️ He’s interrogatingquestioning his reader gf for suspicion of infidelity, while being all passive-aggressive and scary the way he can be. She denies it at first but in the end breaks to the pressure admits to cheating. He then presents her with a gun, ambiguously implying to her what to do
⚠️ mentions of cheating
Sweat trickles down your back, no doubt staining your top, and the usual summer heat feels a lot warmer now that you're under Chishiya's scrutiny. His dark eyes watch you in search of the truth and any minimal sign that you might be lying.
You don't have to be his girlfriend to know that he smells lies like a goddamn bloodhound.
"I didn't!" Even then, you're still stupid enough to deny his accusations. "I didn't cheat on you, I swear!"
"Hmm, are you sure?" he asks in a mocking tone, brow raised in a clear sign that he's not buying your pleas of innocence. "Because I clearly remember seeing you leave the club with someone. But I'm sure that nothing happened, right?"
Your heart drops at his words, and you stutter as you try to find the right answer.
"I-It's not what you think!" You try again, tears falling down your cheeks as you grab his hands in yours. "Please, believe me..."
You have no idea what he'll do if he knows the whole truth. You fear for your life.
"Do explain yourself, then," he says with a shrug, like the subject in question doesn't really interest him.
You do as he says the best you can, blaming your drunken state and lack of sense as what led you to end up in another person's room. You're sobbing and begging for forgiveness by the time you're done, and the expression on Chishiya's face gives nothing away, only making you more nervous.
"Well, you did try," is all he says as he reaches for something behind his back.
You feel like fainting when you see the gun in his hand, hands trembling as he forces you to hold it.
"Tell me, honey, have you ever heard of a game called Russian roulette?"
You nod once, sobbing as you understand what he wants you to do.
"Good," he nods approvingly, a smirk on his face, "how about we play it with your little fling from last night, hmm?"
