the texturing you're putting on certain clothes atm is so effective!

Thank you!! I found them in Clip Studio Paint's downloadable assets and finally got around to using them! Haha. I absolutely love them, they give a good amount of texture without being too obvious. They reminded me of the textures in "Yotsuba!" (A fantastic manga)

They have a lot of free ones, but also paid ones! I've never used or bought those before so I'm not exactly sure how those work. But, these are definitely fun to use! 😊

Could you maybe do a hair tutorial?

Oh!! I thought about it when the anatomy questions came in!

I did do one years ago. Here it is!

But, I think it needs some variation and refreshing! ( my style/process has changed a bit so I think it's fitting to update ) Hair up, down and long maybe? If you all have any hair styles you'd like me to cover, let me know and I'll try to do a few 😊

I'm curious on what you use to make mc skins and any tips for making them?

What I use and some tips! 🎨

I'm still learning, but these are some of my favorite tricks when making skins. Definitely try things that are out of the box! (Lol) if you think "that might look odd" give it a go and you might have found yourself a new technique!

For the shading part, I highly recommend watching Bdubs new Hermitcraft episode and his new Building with Bdubs episode. There he shows his builds in using that technique and explains his thoughts on shading which you can totally apply to your skin making!

how do u make ur pixel art so high res ?

I'm still learning myself, but this is my process! I even forget to change the settings to "hard edges" sometimes and it still comes out fine. I usually bump the scale up by 10, but that really depends on your canvas size. Mine are around 480 x 270 pixels usually and then x 10 for resolution. I imagine you can use this with any program that allows you to edit the resolution.

I've never used this before myself and just found it today, but Lospec is a website full of resources for pixel artists. It even has a place where you can drop your original pixel art and scale it up without having to worry about blurring! Here is the page
